  Pros

  Atobarrier is famous for being so gentle. Even if you try other moisturizers, you'll always come back to this staple. It's incredibly mild and hydrating.

  Cons

  If you apply too thick a layer of skincare, your makeup can pill. Sometimes it pills when I'm applying foundation.

  Tip

  Using a puff to apply skincare prevents foundation from pilling, but the downside is you end up using too much cream.

  I have dry skin with seborrheic dermatitis, and it's extremely dry. Among the creams sold at Olive Young, this one suits me the best.

  While there's nothing particularly disappointing, occasionally it does cause some pilling with makeup, which is a bit of a letdown.

  I've been using this product really well. It's not a hydrating cream, but more of a moisturizing one, so I don't use it in summer. I stocked up during sales to use it during seasonal changes and winter.

  It's so moisturizing, gentle, and absolutely wonderful! I think I'll be repurchasing this again and again. While using this, my deep dryness completely disappeared. Highly recommended!

  I've found my holy grail cream! It's like a godsend for my dry skin. I was initially worried because it looked quite rich, but when applied, the oil and moisture balance is great. It's hydrating without feeling tight or dry the next morning when I cleanse. What I love most is how the capsules in the cream burst, providing excellent hydration. It absorbs well into the skin without feeling greasy.

  It might feel a bit heavy during the peak of summer. Also, if you don't allow enough time for it to absorb after applying in the morning post-cleansing, your makeup might pill. Personally, I only use it at night for this reason.

  Can a single skincare product really improve your skin this much?! It's the best moisturizer I've ever used, strengthening the skin barrier and calming sensitive skin. I discovered this cream when my acne was at its worst. It perfectly balanced my skin's oil and moisture levels while reinforcing the skin barrier, resulting in healthy skin that rarely breaks out anymore. As my sensitive skin dramatically improved, I recommended it to friends with very dry skin, atopic dermatitis, and even pregnant friends. I haven't met anyone who didn't like it. Everyone calls it their holy grail cream. Its ability to maintain hydration is incredible, and it fundamentally improves skin health by strengthening the barrier. If you're always searching for the perfect moisturizer, you absolutely must try this!

  Cons

  For my combination dehydrated skin, it feels a bit heavy in summer, so I switch to Aestura emulsion during that season. (The Atobarrier emulsion is less rich and moisturizing, but it's non-sticky, feels fresh, and works well under makeup.) The cream contains moisturizing beads, which might irritate sensitive skin if not properly melted. It's best to warm it up on the back of your hand before applying. When I've applied too much in a rush in the morning, it has caused my makeup to pill. Make sure to pat it in gently until the beads are fully absorbed.

  Tip

  For acne-prone or sensitive skin, it's better to minimize the number of products you use rather than layering multiple items. If your skin feels dry, repeatedly applying a single moisturizer is the best way to improve your skin condition. While you can't apply cream over makeup, reapplying it frequently after removing your makeup in the evening can significantly improve deep dryness and make your skin feel more comfortable.
