It covers well and I like that it doesn't have any excess powder fallout. I'm using it well, but it would be great if the price could come down a bit. - pc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
My experience with the black color: Using a brush makes application easier, while the puff lacks a bit of precision. Since my hair is on the lighter side, the black shade seemed to stand out a bit on me. However, it looked natural when filling in the inner parts of my hair. The staying power is good, and it's more convenient than I expected, so I find myself using it quite often. I wish it came in a wider range of colors. That's the only slight disappointment. - al******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2025
I've been using this for over a month, and it's great for filling in sparse areas at the crown or part line when they look too thin! It blends naturally with dark hair and is easy to apply. Despite some minor inconveniences, I find myself continuing to use it. As expected with hair cushion products, it does transfer a bit when touched. Also, when it comes in contact with hair, it can make it slightly stiff, giving a hairspray-like feel. It takes some getting used to when styling your hair. - sj*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 3, 2025
It naturally fills in sparse areas of your hair. Rather than covering gray hair, it gives more of a feeling of lightly filling in thin spots, like a hair powder alternative. - tl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2024

It's become an incredibly useful part of my routine. - wo*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 4, 2024
My mom uses this product for her severe gray hair, and I often help her apply it by patting it onto the gray areas. While it doesn't dramatically conceal the grays, the color looks natural, so it's not overly noticeable. Rather than thinking of it as drawing in new hair along the hairline, it's better to use it like a powder puff, gently coloring the gray hairs. Due to the nature of the cushion applicator, it can clump if not applied correctly. While it's easy to wipe off, which is a plus, it's problematic if you don't notice the clumping. Also, it tends to stain my hands quite easily when applying. I think it would have been better if the cushion was thicker or had a larger surface area. Instead of applying too much product at once, it's better to dab it on multiple times. This prevents clumping and allows you to achieve better results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2022
I was pleased to see my scalp darken. The results are immediate! I noticed my hair felt a bit stiff after use. - y5********Oily SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2022
Absolutely fantastic! It truly works wonders. This product significantly improves the quality of life for those dealing with hair loss. There are no downsides, not a single one. However, I do feel the quantity could be a bit more generous. For best results, gently massage it in rather than patting it on the scalp. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2021
After dyeing my gray hair, it starts looking messy at the parting after just 2-3 weeks. But when I'm heading out, I just dab this on the visible areas and it looks so much neater! I try to delay coloring as much as possible since frequent dyeing can irritate my scalp and tire my eyes. This product really helps me stretch the time between colorings. It can get a bit messy when applying, especially under the nails. It washes off easily though. For best results, try not to touch your hair too much after application. Overall, I'm satisfied with how well it covers my gray hair. I found that using a rat-tail comb to part small sections of hair while applying helps achieve more even coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2020
I'm writing this review here since there's no specific section for the mini version of LaLa Choo. Compared to other products, I decided to purchase this one because the ingredients and effects seemed promising. I opted for the mini size as it appeared to offer better value for money than the full-size product. Although I haven't had the chance to thoroughly test it yet, particularly for its gray hair coverage and natural look, I found that the Natural Black shade was the most compatible with untreated hair! Looking at the formula, it's just a compact powder, so I'm not sure how well it will cover gray hair... It might be a good idea to try the mini size first before committing to the full-size product.
