As someone with dry skin, I found this wonderfully hydrating! The scent is also lovely. The price is quite steep, unfortunately. I used to buy it through group purchases, but now that those aren't available, I'm not sure what to use instead. - xp********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2020
For combination dehydrated skin: I've used this product extensively, and although it's a bit rich, I found it works great when applied lightly before bed or as a base before makeup. It really helps the makeup adhere better! The texture leaves your skin feeling firm, and the fragrance is pleasant too. Overall, I was quite satisfied with it! Be careful not to get it in your eyes - it stings terribly! Also, if you have oily skin, you might find it makes your face too shiny. Keep that in mind when using this product! For the best results when applying makeup, try this: Put a tiny drop on your forehead, cheeks, and chin. Gently pat it in, then use any remaining product on your nose and jawline. Follow with your base makeup - it works wonderfully! - pg********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2020
I can feel my skin texture improving and my complexion getting better! I'm not sure about its effect on inflammation, but it does help with skin texture. However, after a certain period, there's no dramatic change. Most importantly, it's too expensive... I probably won't be able to keep using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2020
As someone with oily yet severely dehydrated skin and excessive sebum production, this product is amazing. It tackles my deep dryness and absorbs instantly. It's truly an excellent product in its own right. The price is quite steep. I wish they could release a more affordable version with similar ingredients. - kg****Combination SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2020
This product might be great for those with very dry skin I bought this through a group purchase from a quite famous person. First off, it's disappointing in terms of value for money. For me, with combination skin, it feels like my skin can't breathe, leading to more frequent millet-like blemishes rather than clearing them up. Despite the small amount, I still haven't used it all up. The ingredients are also quite disappointing, as it stings so much it makes my eyes water if it gets in them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2020
I can't say there were any positive points... While it might vary depending on skin type, for me it was a complete waste of money. However, some of my acquaintances seem to use it without issues. I'd recommend testing it on the back of your hand or a small patch of skin before committing. Not only is the original price high, but even group buy prices are extremely expensive. Including shipping, I ended up paying almost $40. I bought it after reading reviews claiming it cleared up skin texture, but just one use made my skin texture significantly worse the next day. Now I can't use it at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2020
After using this, all my tiny bumps disappeared. It's amazing! It tackles deep dryness so well that in summer, this is all I need to apply. It's quite expensive, and even though I used it consistently, it seems like my skin developed a tolerance. It's not as effective on my blemishes anymore. You need to use it sparingly... Whether you apply a lot or just a little, the effect seems to be about the same. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2020
<Honest Review> First off, I have combination (dehydrated) and semi-sensitive skin. To cut to the chase, this product wasn't worth the price and was really disappointing. Price: I bought it for nearly 40,000 won through a group buy, but I'm not sure if it's worth that much. When I first received it and used it for about a week, I felt a subtle soothing effect and my face had this incredible glow. I thought, 'Hmm, not bad. I guess there's a reason for the high price.' But that positive effect only lasted for that first week. After that, it felt like I was applying pure oil to my face - extremely greasy. The biggest flaw of this product seems to be that it doesn't consider the oil and moisture balance. Using this actually changed my skin from combination to oily. Now I've had to switch completely to a hydrating skincare line just to maintain my skin. Application: As I mentioned earlier, it's incredibly oily and applies without any real hydration. It doesn't absorb well and feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin. Rather than feeling like it's coating the skin, it feels like it all ends up on my pillow. The texture is extremely heavy when applying. I kept using it because it was expensive, but I finally bought a different serum. It's strange because it seemed to have some effect for the first week. I think my original skin was 60% hydration and 40% oil, but using this serum gradually increased the oil ratio. For the first week, it became 50:50, but after that, the oil became uncontrollable. The photo is after a month of use. Unfortunately, I don't have a before picture, but the number of blemishes has increased significantly compared to before using it. This is just my personal review, so please take it as a reference. While I felt it had no effect on blemishes, quite a few people with milia (small whiteheads) seemed to see positive results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2020
At first, I saw truly dramatic results, but as time went on, it seemed like my skin adapted and the effects became less noticeable. The product itself is good though, with a nice, firm texture. The price is a bit on the steep side... But other than that, there aren't any major drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 29, 2020
When my skin was sensitive, applying this at night made it feel a bit calmer the next day. My skin looks great with a nice glow. Personally, I liked that it seemed to help soothe my blemishes a little. It's a bit heavy to use before makeup and doesn't really address deep dryness. If it gets in your eyes, it stings terribly. Also, when applied, there's a sensation of warmth on the skin. Since the serum seems to create a warming sensation, when applying it, absolutely avoid pressing it in with your palms or spreading it quickly. It's best to gently pat it onto your skin. Also, don't apply it around your eyes. If it gets in your eyes, it really stings. If you're prone to skin flushing, you might want to avoid using this.
