As a user who has tried all three Descembre essence lines - transparent, green, and blue bottles - I found the blue one to be the best. It has a classic essence texture, absorbs well without feeling sticky, and provides excellent hydration. The Aqua (transparent) didn't show much effect even after diligently using up a whole bottle, and those with oily skin might feel it turns greasy quickly. The green line, with its fermented ingredients like Galactomyces, can cause skin reactions if it doesn't suit you. It has a smooth application but feels like a thin film, unlike a typical essence. The blue Purifying line best matched the essence-like texture and purpose. It's a no-frills essence! I have the worst combination of oily, sensitive skin with a weakened immune system, which has led to unmanageable pores as I age. Although this product isn't specifically for pore care, I noticed a slight improvement! Results may vary, but when I applied it before using a sheet mask, I personally experienced a boost in pore refinement! This product is really suitable for those with super sensitive skin! If you've had an essence at an esthetic salon, it's likely the blue Descembre line. That's how universally appropriate this product is. It absorbs well and has a great texture for use in your skincare routine before makeup. I apply it morning and night without any issues. This essence might not be particularly significant for those with dry skin. My mom, who has dry skin, felt it wasn't enough for her needs. Please keep this in mind! If you're considering trying just one of the Descembre essence lines, definitely go for the Purifying (blue) one! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2019
I bought this for my blemishes, and it really calms my skin down nicely. I switched to something else when I ran out, but I've come back to this product again. There wasn't really anything I found disappointing. I'm quite satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2019
I've been using this product for 3 years straight after getting it recommended at a skincare clinic when I was struggling with acne. It balances oil and moisture, which has significantly reduced my acne and oiliness. If you're dealing with sensitive skin and blemishes, you won't regret giving this a try. It's used like an essence, but it's not too runny. The dropper application keeps it hygienic, which is great. It's not sticky and feels powdery soft when it dries. I think it works even better when paired with a hydrating moisturizer. The price was initially a bit steep for me. Also, if you're not skilled with the dropper, it can be tricky to control the amount, which might lead to waste. I found out that you can buy it online for up to 70% less than what I paid at the clinic! It's worth doing some research to find a good deal. Try searching the full product name in the green search bar and compare prices. Sometimes, products with shorter expiration dates are sold at even lower prices. Don't worry, they're still perfectly fine to use! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2018
As a woman with oily skin prone to excessive sebum production, I've been struggling with enlarged pores. However, since using this product, I've noticed a significant reduction in oil production. That's why I've been loyal to it for over three years now. When I first started using this, it was hard to find and quite expensive. Thankfully, it's now available at duty-free shops and can be found online at more reasonable prices. One downside though: the bottle opening is too small, causing a lot of product to spill when using the dropper. For summer, apply it generously to your forehead and nose area. You'll notice a visible reduction in sebum formation in the T-zone!
