How am I supposed to fill 20 characters when there is nothing to write? 😭 I don't even want to give it a 1-star rating, but I have no choice but to click on it. I really can't shake off the suspicion that the positive comments on the website are from paid employees. If everyone genuinely likes it, then I must be the one who's weird! I'm usually too lazy to write such comments, but this time I just can't hold it in!!! I have extremely dry skin, and I was tempted by the claim of a 'moisturizing scrub'. As soon as I received it and used it, the pleasant scent right after opening turned into an overpowering fragrance that gave me a headache. After use, there was a cigarette ash-like smell left on my body and in the bathroom!! I was supposed to rinse for 5 minutes, but with my impatient personality, I only rinsed for 2 minutes. Even then, the stickiness was intense. Since I dislike cleansers that leave a residue on dry skin, I rinsed it extremely thoroughly. But as you can see in the photo, the towel I used to dry off became dirty, and this happened multiple times, even though I rinsed it immediately. Instead of being moisturized, my skin was left with a thick, coffee-colored tint, making me look like I was dripping in dirty water after the shower! I tried wiping it off with a body lotion, but the dark color kept coming off endlessly! Argh, I'm so frustrated! I had to use half a bottle of body lotion and half a pack of cotton pads, but the dark color just wouldn't go away! I had no choice but to take a thorough shower with body wash again. The white shower towel turned black! If this isn't a problem, then what is?!! It wasn't until the third time using the body wash that the towel finally stopped turning black. 😑 Trying to fix the dryness ended up making my skin even drier! 😭 The bathroom was slippery from the oil, and I had to clean up the cigarette ash smell too! ABC! It's not even 20,000 won, but I'm completely frustrated! My body is dried out from all the rinsing, the bathroom is a mess, and the lingering smell is like I've been smoking! And it's made in China! I just feel so cheated! Completely and utterly not recommended!! Don't buy it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2019
Using the body scrub is definitely nice. I recommend using it a lot. The coffee scent is a bit strong. Those who don't like the coffee scent may want to consider it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2018
Although I have oily skin and a body prone to dryness and flakiness, I used to go to the bathhouse frequently when I was younger. As I got older, I heard a lot of people say that going to the bathhouse is not good for the skin, so I became reluctant to go. However, my skin would still get flaky and rough, causing me a lot of stress. I always used scrubs, but after a few days, my skin would become dry and flaky again. Then, an employee at Olive Young recommended this product, and it's been a game-changer! It's super moisturizing, and I use it about three times a week. Even if I don't use it for over a week, my skin doesn't get flaky at all - it's just so soft and smooth. I highly recommend this product! It doesn't have any salt or other irritants, so it doesn't sting or anything. The product comes in a pouch-like case, which is great for preventing spills and keeping water out. But you'll need a separate container to portion it out for use. Also, if you use this and then apply an oil-based body product, the oil can kind of bleed through and leave a coffee-colored stain. But I didn't have that issue when I just used a regular body lotion. They recommend massaging this in like a scrub, then letting it sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off. And they say that if you follow up with a body lotion, the moisturizing effects will last even longer!
