Before diving into the review:) This is my personal review after using the cosmetic product. Others may experience different sensations or side effects, so please consider various reviews as reference..!! And except for the Hwahae Testers and Hwahae giveaway wins, all reviews are from products I purchased with my own money ☺ <<<<<<< Let me introduce my scalp/skin >>>>>>> ▪️ Redness on both cheeks (super sensitive) ▪️ U-zone area is dry (extremely dry skin) ▪️ T-zone slightly oily (forehead, nose area) + uneven texture ▪️ Overall sensitive with contact dermatitis ▪️ Eczema in folding areas (not on face ❌) ▪️ Oily scalp with slight itchiness ▫️ Noticeable reduction in scalp heat I often experienced a hot and red scalp after washing my hair, but after spraying Dr. For Hair Folligen Tonic, I feel a cool, soothing sensation! It's especially helpful on summer days or when I'm stressed. I think my hair loss has decreased a bit too. ▫️ Pleasant scent and non-irritating There's a slight fragrance, but it's not overpowering, so I found it fine. When sprayed on the scalp, it feels gentle without any stinging or itching, making it suitable even for my sensitive skin. ▫️ Non-sticky with a fresh finish Even after drying my hair post-application, there's no stickiness or heaviness, so I can spray it right after washing without any burden. My hair feels lightly tousled and freshly styled! ▫️ Convenient spray-type application It's easy to apply with one hand, making it quick to use even when I'm in a hurry after shampooing. It spreads evenly on the scalp, which is also hygienic! ▫️ Don't expect significant hair loss treatment effects It's difficult to notice substantial hair loss treatment or hair regeneration effects. While it's good for soothing and maintaining the scalp, those with severe hair loss might find it challenging to see significant results. ▫️ The scent might not suit those sensitive to fragrances There is a slight scent, which didn't bother me much. However, those sensitive to fragrances might have mixed feelings about it! ▫️ Price feels a bit high for the volume The price seems a bit steep for 120ml. If used daily, it might run out quickly, which is slightly disappointing. ▫️ Can drip if overapplied If you spray too much at once, it might drip down the scalp, so be careful with the amount. It's best to apply moderately! - ck********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 27, 2025
As someone whose hair tends to fall out frequently when washing, drying, or just in general, I've noticed a significant reduction in hair loss since I started using this product! After washing my hair, I spray it on my crown and other areas of concern, then gently pat it in. Hmm, the only downside for me is the scent after spraying - I'm not a fan personally. But that's not a major inconvenience since you can just wash your hands afterwards. I haven't experienced any blemishes from using it. The product seems to work hard in preventing hair loss without causing irritation. It absorbs well into the scalp, and while the fragrance might not be for everyone, it doesn't appear to cause any allergic reactions or burning sensations. This could be a great addition to your daily hair care routine, especially if you have super sensitive skin or are concerned about thinning hair. - tj********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 26, 2025
I've started using this product again after a break, and it definitely helps reduce scalp heat. When applied to damp hair, you can spray it 5-6 times without any clumping. While it doesn't cure hair loss, it's great for prevention. It's a product I bought with my own money, and I've noticed a reduction in the amount of hair falling out since using it. I have thin, long hair that lacks volume. After using this, the hair doesn't fall as flat, which is a nice improvement. You end up using it quite liberally! It runs out faster than you'd expect - doesn't even last a month. To see results, you can't just spray it once or twice. On damp hair, I apply it to the part, hairline, and areas where I feel my hair has thinned, using about 7 pumps each time. It can definitely be a bit pricey if you buy it without a discount. Start taking care of your hair before you notice any hair loss. If you have thin, lifeless hair, it's even more crucial to maintain it. - 77***Dry SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
The big advantage is being able to refresh and care for your scalp after washing your hair It's disappointing that the product runs out quickly because it's so easy to use - ki***********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
• It may drip if used on wet hair • Recently, as I felt like I was losing more hair than usual, I started using 'Dr. For Hair Folligen Tonic' while looking for a product to keep my scalp healthy. Usually, after washing my hair, I would feel a tingling and itchy sensation on my scalp, but this product seemed to alleviate those symptoms quite well. Above all, the application method is really simple. After shampooing, just spray it on the scalp and gently pat it with your fingertips. There's no need to rinse it off, and it's not sticky, so I didn't mind using it daily. If there's a slight downside to Dr. For Hair Folligen Tonic, it's that the spray nozzle is a bit stiff. Other than that, I'm satisfied because it feels refreshing when sprayed and it's effective. After shampooing, I towel-dry my hair to remove excess moisture, then spray the tonic evenly all over my scalp. I massage it in with my hands to help it absorb, and then finish drying my hair. I've found that massaging it in helps with absorption, so that's how I've been using it. - he*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedApr 26, 2025
I sprayed this on my scalp to relieve the heat and itching. It felt cool for quite a while and stopped the itching, but I'm curious about the safety of the ingredients. I'm a bit concerned about whether it's okay for sensitive scalps, given that some harmful ingredients are showing up. - su***********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I love the cool, refreshing feeling it gives. It seems to strengthen the hair roots and take care of dead skin cells on the scalp. It's quite runny, so you need to quickly massage it into the scalp to ensure absorption. After shampooing, I spray it on my damp scalp before drying. I gently massage it in with my fingertips to help it absorb, then blow-dry my hair. - 4w********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
This has been a staple product for me, especially during fall and winter. It's great for soothing an itchy scalp. However, as the weather has warmed up, I feel like it's making my scalp oily. Maybe it's because of the increased heat on my scalp... - pb******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 31, 2025
When I spray it, my scalp feels refreshingly cool. It didn't make my hair clump together, and I didn't experience any scalp irritation. I usually have a lot of heat on my scalp, so I needed something cooling, and this worked well for me. Of course, I wasn't expecting it to help with hair loss or anything like that... right? - 69*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
It feels rich, which would be perfect for those with a dry scalp I can't say if it makes hair grow or thicken, but it seems good for scalp health Use only in the evening
