It's nourishing, moisturizing, and just perfect for my skin. The sheet mask feels great, adheres well, and is so soft. It's ideal for when your skin is feeling tired and needs a boost.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it contains artificial fragrances. I'd recommend this if propolis works well for your skin.

I've even recommended it to others after using it myself. As someone who suffers from severe deep dryness in winter, I usually have to manage dead skin cells and blemishes day and night with constant hydration. But due to laziness, I often just slather on moisturizer haphazardly. I was skeptical when opening this mask, as most sheet masks only provide temporary moisture before leaving skin feeling dry again. However, this one was unique - you remove a mesh layer before applying, which seems to help the mask retain more essence. Upon application, I felt a cooling sensation that relieved any heat in my skin. After 20 minutes, there was no tightness, and the hydrating effects lasted until the next day. For someone with chronically dehydrated skin, this is the most moisturizing mask I've ever used. My makeup applied much better, and within days, my blemishes seemed to clear up. In short, it's fantastic. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must try this. This is definitely a product I'll continue to use.
ConsFrom opening to application, there's a strong honey scent that initially reminded me of candle or paraffin wax. If you're sensitive to strong fragrances in masks, you might find this off-putting. The price is quite high for a sheet mask, selling for about 5,000-6,000 won per sheet. If the price were lower, I could use it more frequently. However, if deep dryness is a concern, especially in winter, investing 5,000-6,000 won daily might be worthwhile. Considering professional hydration and skin cell management at a dermatologist costs around 140,000 won per session, using this 5,000-6,000 won mask for home care seems like decent value.
TipThere's an abundance of essence in the mask. I saved the excess in an empty container and applied it the next morning after cleansing. The mask contains enough essence to apply to your neck or other areas while masking.

The next day, I noticed an improvement in my skin texture. Above all, the sheet mask is incredibly thin and adheres perfectly to the skin, justifying its price. The feeling is absolutely wonderful!
ConsIt's disappointing that fragrance was added. I don't think such a sweet scent is necessary. In fact, the somewhat artificial fragrance might be off-putting for those sensitive to scents.

My skin condition: I have dry and sensitive skin that quickly reacts to incompatible products. Reactions vary, but usually include red, itchy spots like mosquito bites, especially in sensitive areas where blemishes appear. To cut to the chase, unfortunately this product didn't suit my skin. While it was fine on the day of use, the next day I developed red blemishes on my nose, forehead, and chin, so I stopped using it. I'll update this review if anything changes after trying it again. 1. Mask Essence Quantity There's an abundance of essence - even after saturating the sheet, it was overflowing. There's enough to soak two sheets generously. 2. Sheet Quality It's not a cheap sheet, but a gel-type. After removing the mesh on both sides, it adheres closely to the face due to its thin gel structure. It clings well without leaving gaps that could cause wrinkles, which I appreciated. 3. Absorption I liked how the essence absorbed well without sitting on the surface after removing the mask. Unlike other masks where I wait for it to dry before applying cream, with this one I could apply cream almost immediately. It's slightly sticky, but that's expected due to the honey ingredient.
Cons1. Fragrance The rich vanilla scent was a bit off-putting for me. I generally dislike overly sweet or artificial scents, and this one felt quite strong and synthetic. I later found out that fragrance is listed in the ingredients. I think it might be better without the artificial scent! 2. Deep Dryness For those with dry skin, the mask alone might not be enough to combat dryness. While it absorbs quickly, I felt a slight tightness after a while and had to apply additional cream. If you have dry skin like mine, I recommend following up with an emulsion or cream after using the mask. 3. Effectiveness I usually use honey-based products for soothing, but this one caused blemishes on my skin. Since I used my regular products otherwise, I suspect this mask was the cause of my breakout. I'm disappointed as I wanted to leave a positive review, but it just didn't work for me. However, please keep in mind that skin can be affected by diet and lifestyle as well as skincare products.
TipPrepare an empty bottle to collect the remaining essence - you can get two uses out of one pack! Using cotton pads like Silcot can make the mask even more effective. Always transfer leftover contents to a sealable container. Some people put cotton pads in the original packaging for next-day use, but once opened, the product starts to change due to air exposure. I recommend transferring it to an empty bottle for storage.

I usually squeeze out the essence first and apply it to my face before putting on the mask. There's so much essence that after covering my face, I had enough left for my neck and arms too! I'm also impressed by the high-quality ingredients. Many masks these days contain fragrances, but this one has gentle, skin-friendly ingredients. What's great is there's no tightness after using the mask. It seems to have the perfect oil and moisture balance, so I don't need to apply emulsion or cream afterwards like I usually do with other masks.
ConsThe honey scent might be a bit overwhelming for some. It's not natural honey, but more of an artificial honey fragrance that could be off-putting. Using the mask can be a bit tricky. There's a honeycomb-structured gauze on both sides of the mask. At first, I didn't realize this and wondered why it felt so rough. You actually need to remove one side of the gauze, apply the mask, and then remove the outer gauze, which can be a bit inconvenient.
TipMake sure to apply the abundant essence from the pack thoroughly to your face and let it absorb before putting on the mask. Remember to remove the gauze before use!

But after trying this product, I realized it was just certain ones that didn't agree with me! The appropriate keywords are #fresh #moisturizing #deep hydration #essence-like. I previously disliked honey and propolis products because they often left a sticky, tacky finish. However, this one didn't give me that unpleasant feeling at all! After it fully absorbs, there's no greasy or slippery sensation on the skin. It feels light yet deeply hydrating, just like applying an essence or serum. My skin is extremely sensitive and problematic, so I've tried almost every cosmetic and mask out there. Especially in this price range, I've experimented with countless masks, but this is the first one that leaves virtually no residue. Some masks feel so damp that I've had to wipe them off with toner, but this one provides deep hydration that absorbs completely. You only need to apply a moisturizer as a protective layer before bed. For my combination dehydrated skin that gets oily in summer, I found I didn't even need the extra moisturizer! *Quantity The amount of ampoule is incredible... Even with my combination dehydrated, sensitive skin, I could use this as an all-in-one product after showering while traveling! With its great ingredients, effects, and feel, it's truly a miracle worker. +For dry skin types, adding one more layer of moisturizer would be perfect! *Adherence It's not a cheap non-woven type, but a thin hydrogel mask, so it adheres well to the skin.
ConsIf I had to nitpick, the scent isn't really my style. It's a subtle, not-too-sweet honey fragrance, but it feels a bit artificial, like typical cosmetic scents. (I think I felt this way because I generally dislike coconut and almond-like scents!) That said, it's not off-putting enough to make me not want to use it - it's just a minor disappointment. Also, the hydrogel patch is wrapped in a double-layer mesh pad. While this is common for hydrogel products, it can be a bit messy to remove, getting the essence on your hands and causing some to drip off. I wonder if this double protection is really necessary.
TipIf I use this at night after toning, my makeup applies amazingly well the next day - it's truly impressive! I've been struggling to find a good pack since using ISOI, so I've mostly been using mud packs and modeling masks. I plan to stock up on these when they're on sale, as I think they'll become a new staple in my routine. I'm so glad this event helped me discover such a satisfying product!

(I have sensitive, atopic-prone skin. It's extremely dry and tight, but due to an imbalance in oil and moisture, I tend to get small blemishes. I prefer a cool sensation, so I refrigerated the mask before each use.) 1. Packaging: The packaging isn't flimsy, but rather a coated paper-like material that's easy to open. The sheet itself is quite thin, but with mesh on both sides, it's easy to position on the face. 2. Scent: While it may vary from person to person, I personally find the fragrance pleasant and comforting. It's more of an artificial honey water scent rather than pure honey. 3. Sheet: Made from fermented coconut, it adheres exceptionally well to the skin. It seems to prevent the essence from sliding around and promotes good absorption. (It reminded me of coconut jelly in fruit cocktail cans or P*chel - if thinly sliced, it would look and feel very similar!) 4. Amount of Essence: Even after storing it flat to allow the mask to absorb the essence fully, there was still plenty left! It was great for applying to arms and legs without feeling sticky, absorbing quickly. 5. Application and After-feel: Despite being honey-based, it felt more hydrating than overly nourishing or rich. I personally dislike that heavy feeling and avoid mask packs with cream-type essences. This one provided excellent hydration and absorbed well into the skin without leaving a residue. It wasn't sticky at all. 6. Effects: Compared to before use, my skin definitely felt more hydrated and appeared firmer. Even with just a light moisturizer after use, my skin didn't feel dry at all.
Cons1. Scent: While I liked it, my sister who used it with me found it too sweet and artificial. 2. If you don't pat it in thoroughly after use, it can feel slightly sticky. I'm not sure if this is due to the essence's formulation.
TipHoney itself is an excellent ingredient for soothing, nourishing, and adding glow and elasticity to the skin! It's personally one of my favorite ingredients, but most honey-based mask packs have been too heavy or rich for me to use comfortably. This one, however, is light and focuses more on hydration than oil, which I really appreciate!

Thickness = Thin I initially thought removing two mesh layers would be cumbersome, but the thinness was quite satisfying. As someone who hasn't tried many sheet masks, this type was new to me, but it seems to have more pros than cons. The thin texture allows for better hydration delivery and feels light on the skin. Adherence What I appreciated most was how well it adhered to the nose area. Usually, masks don't stick properly there, reducing effectiveness, but this one wrapped around the nose nicely. It made me, someone who typically prefers cream masks, reconsider sheet masks positively! Moisturizing effect While I can't definitively say it deeply hydrated my very dry skin, I felt no tightness at all. After removing the sheet, my skin felt noticeably moisturized. Even the next morning, my skin didn't feel dry. Essence quantity The amount of leftover essence was impressive. After applying the mask, I had enough to apply twice on my arms and legs, and still had some left for a cotton pad. My mom also commented on the abundance, applying it to her arms, legs, and neck. The quantity is more than satisfactory! - Overall, my mother was pleased with the product (her skin looked well-hydrated). - If I were to rate it, I'd give it 4.5 stars!
ConsFragrance While other ingredients were good, I was disappointed to see fragrance listed. It felt like a drawback on top of otherwise great ingredients. My 50-year-old mother thought it was fine given the other good ingredients, but I personally found the scent off-putting. It had an artificial honey-like smell that might be divisive. If you're sensitive to strong fragrances in cosmetics like I am, you might not enjoy this mask's scent. Price Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey, but after using it, I feel the quality justifies the cost. I'd consider purchasing it again when I need sheet masks. Application As mentioned earlier, this type of mask was new to me. First-time users might find it tricky to apply smoothly. The top part got a bit crumpled, so I had to manually smooth it out. It's not a major flaw and not specific to this product, but I thought it worth mentioning for newcomers.
TipThere's a substantial amount of essence left over. It's a good idea to transfer it to an empty container and apply it with a cotton pad for gentle absorption. Remember to smooth the mask from the center outwards to avoid air bubbles!

Luckily, I won The Hwahae Testers draw, so here's my honest review! Adhesion: Wow, it sticks incredibly well! The sheet isn't like the usual cotton feel, but more like a hydrogel mask that absorbs without drying out, even over time. However, like all masks, leaving it on for over 20 minutes can dehydrate your skin. With this mask, the sheet seems to melt and cling to your skin, leaving some residue, so stick to the recommended time! Improvement in Dryness: The harmony of honey and propolis is love... If I had to pick the best mask for winter, this would be my top choice. Fortunately, the propolis didn't cause any major blemishes for me, so it suited my skin. My mom, in her mid-50s, tried it too and said it was much more hydrating than other masks. Size: I have a generally large face, especially a prominent forehead that's as vast as the Pacific Ocean. Most masks don't cover my forehead, but this one, as you can see in the photo, covers it perfectly, which I'm satisfied with. (Placing the mask right under my eyes to fit my hairline is just my thing, so adjust it to your face as needed!) Essence Amount: The amount of essence is incredibly generous!!! It's one of the most abundant I've ever used. I bought an empty dropper bottle from the dollar store to save the leftover essence, using it for about two days, and applying the rest all over my body.
ConsFragrance: From the moment you open the product, there's a strong honey-baby scent. While it's pleasant and lingers until the next day, I wonder if an artificial fragrance is really necessary... Price: Everything's great, but... there's just one thing....... It's expensive. If I hadn't won The Hwahae Testers draw, I probably wouldn't have bought it easily. While there may be various reasons like ingredients and sheet quality, consumers might need to think carefully about whether it's worth the price.
TipThe product has a fan in the middle with a mesh covering both sides. I recommend only peeling off the part you're going to apply first, then removing the other side later! If you peel it all off at once, the mask might become too floppy and difficult to handle.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review after using the product for two weeks. I appreciated that they included various types of masks. Each mask has a distinct main ingredient, and most importantly, I didn't experience any blemishes. My skin type is dry, allergy-prone, and prone to breakouts during my menstrual cycle. The scent is quite strong with honey notes, which I personally enjoy. The sheet has a honeycomb-shaped mesh on both sides and is thin, allowing for excellent adherence. The eye holes fit perfectly, unlike the Black Sugar mask where they were too small. The texture truly resembles honey! It adheres well to the skin without dripping. Despite the generous amount of essence, it didn't cause any itching or subsequent blemishes.
ConsWhile I enjoyed the honey scent, it's disappointing that it's artificial. I think it would be better to remove the fragrances from each mask, even though they match the main ingredients. The sheet adheres well due to its thinness, but removing the honeycomb-shaped mesh on both sides is challenging. Although it's great for a daily mask routine due to the lack of irritation, the price is a concern. It's quite expensive for regular use if purchased directly.
TipYou can store the remaining essence in an empty container like others do, or as I did, apply it to your feet for a DIY foot mask using plastic wrap and sleep socks. There's truly an abundance of essence left - enough to generously coat both feet and still have some remaining!
