  As soon as I opened the mask, a honey scent wafted up. It smelled like real honey had been poured in, which was so refreshing! My skin is oily but lacks moisture, and this mask felt like it was really pumping my skin full of hydration. I was worried it might be too greasy because of the honey, but it wasn't oily at all! I used it for about 10 minutes almost every day after washing my face, and I didn't get a single blemish. There's a lot of essence inside, so I squeezed it out and applied it not just on my face, but also on my neck and hands. What I usually dislike about masks is the sticky feeling after removing them, with hair sticking to my face, but this one didn't have that issue. It's perfect for a daily mask routine!

  I'm sharing my experience as a member of The Hwahae Testers after using this mask daily for my combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. When opening, true to its honey mask nature, it has a honey scent and honey-colored contents! There's a mesh-like cover on both sides making it easy to apply, and once on, the sheet is incredibly thin, providing excellent adherence. The sheet feels more like a hydrogel than cotton! There's also surprisingly plenty of essence - enough to apply extra on top after putting on the mask. Day 1: (Toner-Mask-Moisturizer-Face Oil) After cleansing, I added the mask to my usual routine. It might have been too nourishing as I got a small blemish the next day. Day 2: (Toner-Mask) Thinking the previous day was too rich, I only used the mask's essence repeatedly after masking, without cream or oil. It absorbed well but felt sticky after multiple applications. Day 3 onwards: Since it felt too sticky on day 2, I applied the remaining essence just once after masking. I was worried about dryness the next day, but surprisingly it wasn't dry - no tightness and minimal stickiness. I used the remaining masks this way and had no more blemishes! The thin sheet adheres well and absorbs nicely, but I like reapplying the leftover essence, which became too sticky. It felt wasteful to throw away the excess... Given my skin type, I also look for ingredients that help oily skin, but this mask seems more suitable for dry skin types! While using it wasn't bad, I didn't feel like my face brightened or became super hydrated after masking. Texture: It's slightly yellow like honey, with an essence-like consistency, a bit thinner than an ampoule! I liked that it wasn't too sticky or heavy after masking. However, reapplying the leftover essence makes it quite sticky. It felt wasteful to discard the excess... Those with very dry skin or who enjoy a stickier feel could reapply multiple times using hands or a mask brush! Moisturizing power: Even with multiple applications, there's little pilling or sliding. It just gets a bit sticky... As mentioned, it absorbs well, so even without applying cream or other products after masking, there was no dryness or tightness. Recommended for: While it seems suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, it might work best for dry skin! I have sensitive skin and check ingredients carefully, but I didn't experience any major reactions or blemishes, so it wasn't bad! Those who absolutely can't tolerate any potentially harmful ingredients might want to pass...

  1. It's disappointing that it contains fragrance, which can be harmful. With so many clean beauty products and masks available these days, this feels a bit lacking. 2. While there's plenty of essence in the packet, it becomes too sticky when reapplied, so I ended up wasting it, which was a shame. 3. The sheet mask is both a pro and a con... While it adheres well due to its thinness, it tends to tear or stretch easily. 4. The price! Even if it had worked perfectly for me, the cost might have made me hesitate to continue using it regularly.

  This product is truly amazing. The sheet mask itself is so plump and firm, and its absorption and hydration power are no joke. There's so much essence in the pack that I actually save the excess in a separate container because it feels too precious to waste. I've found that using the leftover essence dissolved in a bath for a half-body soak is incredibly beneficial.

  The essence itself is a bit sticky, which was slightly disappointing. The sheet material was also a bit on the thin side.

  First off, I loved the sweet scent! The sheet was so thin, it felt like it was hugging my skin perfectly. Plus, there was so much essence in the pack that I could even apply it all over my body - what a treat!

  Cons

  However, the downside was that the sheet was so thin it tore easily. While the honey scent wasn't irritating, it somehow felt like I had actual honey on my face, which was a bit uncomfortable. I'm also not sure if this product really helps with skin hydration and elasticity. Usually, I apply leftover essence on my neck and body after masking, but this one was a bit sticky, so I ended up taking another shower.

  * Skin type: Dry As winter approaches and my skin gets drier, I find myself using hydrating masks more often. This mask pack, true to its name, contains propolis, making it incredibly moisturizing for dry skin types. What I really love is how thin and adherent it is. You can go about doing various tasks while wearing it without it slipping off or getting disheveled! Even after removing the mask, there's a lingering moisturizing effect and a nice, firm feeling to the skin.

  Cons

  First off, the propolis scent itself might be a hit or miss for some people. Also, it might be a bit too sticky for those with oily skin. Be careful when removing the mesh sheet as well - the side that touches your face is quite thin, so it might lose its shape easily.

  Tip

  There's usually a lot of essence left in the packet after taking out the mask. Instead of wasting it, I save it separately. I soak a cotton pad with this essence and place it on dry areas for 5-10 minutes before removing and applying makeup. It really helps the makeup go on smoothly. Great tip!

  As a first-time winner of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my honest review after using this product for two weeks! I rarely used face masks before, and my skin was dry with blemishes. When I first opened the pack, a strong honey scent wafted out. The essence was so thick and sticky, I thought it might drip if I dropped it. It truly felt like real honey! The mask shape was unique, so I had to reread the instructions (haha). You remove the mesh on both sides and apply the soft mask in the middle. It was tricky to apply at first, but I got the hang of it by the second time. There was so much essence that it almost dripped when I applied the mask. I put it on in the bathroom and used the excess on my body! I used it daily or every other day. My dead skin cells that usually appeared after washing my face decreased, and my blemishes disappeared.   My first impression and final results with this mask were really good. However, there were some inconveniences. Other reviews mentioned quick absorption and no stickiness, but I'm not sure if it was just my skin, but even when the mask seemed slightly dry and I removed it, there was still some stickiness that made my hair stick to my face. Also, because the mask was so soft and slippery, it tended to slide down when I was sitting up. I had to keep pushing it back up on my forehead. While the mask felt nice and adhered well to my face, giving a more luxurious feel than regular masks, I think it's best used while lying down.

  Tip

  After cleansing, apply the mask in the bathroom and use any leftover essence on your body! Or save the excess and apply it in the morning when you wake up. Lie down after applying the mask (in case it slides down when you're sitting).

  I was selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and used this product 3 times over 10 days. (I have sensitive, atopic-prone skin. It's extremely dry and tight, but due to an imbalance in oil and moisture, I tend to get small blemishes. I prefer a cool sensation, so I refrigerated the mask before each use.) 1. Packaging: The packaging isn't flimsy, but rather a coated paper-like material that's easy to open. The sheet itself is quite thin, but with mesh on both sides, it's easy to position on the face. 2. Scent: While it may vary from person to person, I personally find the fragrance pleasant and comforting. It's more of an artificial honey water scent rather than pure honey. 3. Sheet: Made from fermented coconut, it adheres exceptionally well to the skin. It seems to prevent the essence from sliding around and promotes good absorption. (It reminded me of coconut jelly in fruit cocktail cans or P*chel - if thinly sliced, it would look and feel very similar!) 4. Amount of Essence: Even after storing it flat to allow the mask to absorb the essence fully, there was still plenty left! It was great for applying to arms and legs without feeling sticky, absorbing quickly. 5. Application and After-feel: Despite being honey-based, it felt more hydrating than overly nourishing or rich. I personally dislike that heavy feeling and avoid mask packs with cream-type essences. This one provided excellent hydration and absorbed well into the skin without leaving a residue. It wasn't sticky at all. 6. Effects: Compared to before use, my skin definitely felt more hydrated and appeared firmer. Even with just a light moisturizer after use, my skin didn't feel dry at all.

  1. Scent: While I liked it, my sister who used it with me found it too sweet and artificial. 2. If you don't pat it in thoroughly after use, it can feel slightly sticky. I'm not sure if this is due to the essence's formulation.

  Tip

  Honey itself is an excellent ingredient for soothing, nourishing, and adding glow and elasticity to the skin!
