It applies smoothly with a velvety feel. I have a warm skin tone and it's on the darker side, but it works well for a natural, understated makeup look. The color is not at all overpowering.
ConsIt wipes off immediately after eating, and my lips get really dry if I don't apply lip balm.

At first, I avoided such shades as I thought they would make my face look dull or unflattering. But the moment I applied it, I couldn't help but say 'Hey, this actually looks pretty good!' Especially if I feel it's a bit lacking, I can mix it with other lip colors to make it even prettier. This has become an indispensable daily lip product for me. It also has a matte finish, yet applies smoothly and moisturizes my lips comfortably.
ConsI'm using this product with great satisfaction and don't have any complaints. If I find it a bit flat, I can just mix it with other lip colors, so it works out well for me :)

It's not a full-on MLBB, but a toned-down coral shade that works well with the muted tones of fall colors. The Shu Uemura matte lipsticks have slightly different textures depending on the shade, and the Dandy Coral applies creamily and smoothly compared to Gangnam Orange or Gangnam Pink. It has less pigmentation than those two lipsticks as well.
ConsBeing a matte lipstick, it can be drying. Lip balm is a must! Also, while it's fine at first, over time it can start to emphasize flaky skin. This is just an inherent issue with matte lipsticks. The soft, delicate color makes it easy to overapply, and if you do, you can end up with a 'yogurt' effect.
TipThere are a few downsides, but the color is so strikingly beautiful that it's my daily go-to lipstick. To avoid applying it too thickly, I don't apply it straight from the bullet. Instead, I dab it on with my finger. Using a lip brush would probably work even better. The photo below shows the swatch of Dandy Coral alongside Chili Rose.
