It quickly melts with body heat, allowing you to use it like a cleansing cream on your face. It dissolves gently while effectively cleansing. I typically remove all my makeup, including mascara and eyeshadow, in one go, and this does the job effortlessly :) When emulsified with water and rinsed off, perhaps due to the coconut-derived ingredients, it leaves your face with a subtle glow as if you've just used a massage cream. There's absolutely no loss of hydration! However, as I prefer a squeaky-clean feel after cleansing, I follow up with a foaming cleanser for a second cleanse. This would be perfect for those with dry skin - even after double cleansing, there's no feeling of dryness! The only slight inconvenience is that it comes in a jar format rather than a pump dispenser. It's affordable when on sale. The pump bottle is hygienic - you can see the liquid turn white when water mixes in. Removes makeup effectively. While it removes makeup well, there might be harmful residues left. A double cleanse is essential. You don't have to use it in the bathroom. Apply it in your room, then head to the bathroom to rinse off.
