As a micellar water cleansing enthusiast, I've tried countless products. This one deserves top marks for cleansing effectiveness, fragrance, and gentleness. It's so good that I can hardly use anything else now. The only downside is that it can be a bit hard to find. Everything else about it is great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2020
It removes makeup thoroughly and cleanly. I've been using this product for a long time. My skin tends to get dry... I'm not sure if it's just me though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2019
It removes makeup well and seems gentle. Not irritating at all. A little goes a long way on a cotton pad. Almost no scent. The container feels like it's missing 2%. A pump dispenser would be more convenient for use. - so********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2019
Unlike typical cleansing toners, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry after wiping. As the product description suggests, you don't need to double cleanse after using it. Even when I follow up with a mild acidic cleanser, I've never experienced a gentler cleansing process. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. The ingredients of concern aren't significant enough to worry about. Apply a suitable amount to a cotton pad and wipe your face two or three times. Follow with a light rinse or an additional mild acidic cleanse for a thorough cleansing experience. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2019
First off, I'm really pleased that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin. The fragrance is also pleasantly subtle, which I appreciate. I don't have any specific complaints so far. The only thing I find a bit disappointing is the price - it's on the expensive side for a cleansing water. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2019
The scent is mild. Unlike other eye makeup removers that sting or leave an oily film causing blurry vision, this one doesn't irritate my eyes even when I open them. I can use it as a substitute for Aestura's remover. It's also great as a toner - in the morning, I soak a cotton pad and wipe my face, removing yellow sebum and grayish dust. Afterward, I spray on toner from a mist bottle, which is super convenient. No blemishes and it cleanses well. It's not pink like some toners, so there's no need for added colorants, which is reassuring. I wish the container had a pump dispenser. Opening and closing the lid increases air exposure. Unlike cleansing oil, you can visibly see this product getting used up quickly. You can soak a cotton pad generously and use it as a sheet mask, or layer it over a wash-off pack. It's even better at removing mascara and lip color than Darphin's remover. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2019
I've been using this product since my skin was super sensitive, and it's been a reliable choice. I use it with a cotton pad as a toner after cleansing. It works well on both my face and neck, providing hydration and functioning effectively as a toner without any issues. Trying to remove makeup with this product alone is a bit of a stretch. It's better to use it after thoroughly cleansing with an oil-based remover. I've stocked up on a few bottles out of convenience, but given the high price, I'll probably try a different product next time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
While it may not have exceptional barrier properties, it's gentle on the skin. Unlike the pink Bioderma that caused my skin to react badly, this product doesn't have that effect. The price is way too high. Apart from that, it's decent... but the cost makes it difficult to use generously. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2019
First off, I love that the scent isn't irritating. It cleanses well without leaving my skin feeling tight, keeping it nicely hydrated. Given its watery consistency, those who prefer hand cleansing like me might find it a bit messy. Be prepared for some dripping that could wet your sleeves during use. Apart from the high price point, it's a great product! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2019
I've been using the Darphin Cleansing Balm for cleansing and as a toner replacement. The store staff said I could apply my skincare right after wiping with the water, just like using a toner. At first, I felt uneasy about it, but now I feel uncomfortable if I don't use it. It definitely cleanses more effectively than wiping with a toner, and I feel like my skincare products absorb better afterward. First off, it's quite pricey... But aside from that, I'm satisfied!
