The hairs were incredibly fine, but the ingrown hair effect has definitely improved tremendously.
ConsI have a really curious question for those of you using it - if anyone knows, please leave a comment! From using it so diligently, my skin has started peeling off, or rather, my dead skin cells are just sloughing off when I take a bath. The ingrown hair effect is amazing, but in the reviews of others, I haven't seen anyone mention this peeling. I'm using it on my armpits and down below, and the dead skin is just coming off like it's being exfoliated (even normally). I've had to temporarily stop using it on my armpits, but I'm still persevering and applying it down below. Will it get better if I keep using it?? My skin also seems to be gradually turning darker, perhaps due to the dryness and peeling.
TipAfter using it, I apply aloe vera gel, but the gel normally has a sticky feeling to it. However, after using Tend Skin, when I apply the gel, it turns liquid-like! So I'm not sure if that means my skin is getting the hydration it needs. Is this normal? Do I need to apply something else?

It comes in two forms - a skin type and a roll-on type. This is the roll-on version, which is more convenient to use. The product contains acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), which is a different chemical compound from salicylic acid (BHA). I use this after Hwahae Trial Reviewer shaving, as it helps with ingrown hairs. You shouldn't use it right after shaving, but rather a few hours later. Even then, there is still some irritation, as most of the ingredients are alcohol-based, so it can feel a bit stinging. Overall, it's somewhat effective. You can see the stubborn hairs trapped in the pores coming out after applying it.
ConsYou need to wipe off the dead skin with a cotton pad soaked in toner for this product to be more effective. Since this is a roll-on type, it's just convenient, but you should use a skin type instead. Otherwise, you'll end up with strange, whitish flakes... It looks unsightly. You'll understand what I mean if you try it.
TipCaution should be exercised when using this on wounded areas, as it can cause a burning sensation.
