  This was the skin toner I used extensively when I had severe acne 10 years ago... I think I went through around 5 bottles of it. I used it because Clarins recommended it as being less irritating, and true to their word, it was gentle on my skin and didn't cause any irritation. It was moisturizing and had a pleasant fragrance. However, it didn't really make my acne any better or worse - it was just a decent, run-of-the-mill toner. Since acne is usually caused by hormones or ingredients, one product alone can't really solve the problem. I didn't know that back then, unfortunately.
