I found it best to dispense some onto my hands. It's gentle on the skin. It doesn't feel very moisturizing and has more of a watery toner texture, so it might be drying for some. It seems a bit too harsh to use as an exfoliating toner, and using it for a toner mask feels a bit wasteful. My skin is sensitive, but after consistently using this product, my blemishes have reduced somewhat. When I start my makeup routine with this toner, it leaves my skin so hydrated that my foundation applies beautifully! I'm currently on my 4th or 5th bottle! I can't really think of any downsides. I'll need to use it a bit longer to be sure, but I didn't notice any new blemishes. It was easy to use as an exfoliating toner... I'm not sure if cica products just don't work for me, but I didn't really feel any special soothing effects. As someone with extremely oily skin, I can confidently say this toner is a true holy grail. I just finished a bottle and repurchased it during a buy-one-get-one-free sale. Honestly, I don't know how I lived before using this... it's that good! Before, I'd wake up with my face drowning in oil, but after using this exfoliating toner, I wake up with perfectly balanced skin - not dry, not greasy, just right. I've been a toner nomad, trying everything out there, but this is the best by far. Plus, my blemishes, which were frequent due to excess oil, have almost disappeared since I started using this. I'm now on my third bottle - it's absolutely fantastic! It feels a bit pricey for the amount you get. Also, I wish they offered a larger size option. While it can make your skin quite dry, it's perfect for summer use. Most importantly, those tiny bumps on your skin... they all disappear! Results may vary depending on your skin type, but I've seen definite effects from using this. I'm currently on my third bottle and will need to buy another one soon! I wish it came in a larger size. The instructions say to apply it generously with a cotton pad, but the amount is quite small. Apply it generously on a cotton pad and gently massage it into your face. I received this set as a gift and I'm currently using it. Despite having dry skin, using all three products in the line together leaves my skin feeling moisturized and perfectly refined. The toner, in particular, is my favorite. There's a slight inconvenience of having to shake the product before use, but it mixes quickly when shaken. The particles seem to be extremely fine. I use all three products in the line together. For those with even slightly dry skin, I highly recommend using the complete line.
