I bought this after seeing it advertised on social media, but it feels like false advertising. I won't be swayed by social media ads again. I didn't see any results at all, so I have no intention of repurchasing. I'll pass on this one. - ul******Dry SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2023
This is my go-to blemish patch that I always keep stocked! While it does sting a bit when applied, if I wear it overnight, the spot is noticeably reduced by morning. Even my husband, who's not particularly interested in skincare, sneaks these from my stash... The downside is that you don't typically use all 9 patches at once, but after just one day, the pointed microneedle part seems to dissolve, making the remaining patches less effective. If you're not using all 9 patches at once, store the remaining ones in a sealed bag in the refrigerator to extend their shelf life and maintain effectiveness. - qk**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 31, 2022
When you apply this patch to a blemish, it draws out the sebum within a day or two, and the spot quickly subsides. Whenever I get a breakout, I rely solely on these patches. They come in yellow and blue varieties, which I've heard are designed for different sizes and severities of blemishes. Being able to choose the appropriate patch based on the specific issue is definitely a plus. I've noticed some inconsistency with the microneedles - some patches have very noticeable ones, while others seem to lack them entirely. I'm not sure if they're supposed to dissolve when exposed to air or what's causing this variation. - an*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2022
Current skin condition: Dry, sensitive skin with mysterious blemishes around the mouth (seems to be related to diet or health issues since they keep increasing even after changing all skincare products). These blemishes don't come to a head even after a week, instead hardening and leaving dark marks without being able to extract them. Due to my impatient nature, I tend to pick at them, causing scars if not professionally treated at a spa or dermatologist. I saw immediate care effects the morning after using this product. While it's my first time trying such a pointed patch, making it hard to compare with other microneedle patches, it's the only acne patch where I've truly felt an 'effect'. I could feel the hardened sebum (?) under my dry skin softening, and the blemish size reduced. By the third day of use, the smaller pimples had almost completely smoothed out. The price is higher compared to regular patches. The adhesion isn't great - even on clean, dry skin, it easily comes off around the mouth area when talking. The instructions say to press for 3 seconds, but my sensitive skin quickly becomes red and irritated at the application site. However, I still gave it four stars because of its effectiveness. It's better than living with deep, hardened blemishes... If I continue to have breakouts, I plan to repurchase. I apply it before bed and remove it during my morning cleanse. Since the patch is very thin, I use tweezers to handle it. - sl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 17, 2020
I saw definite results on pimples that were just about to come to a head. It's also really effective when applied overnight after popping a zit. To be honest, I can't really tell if it's the micro-needles making the difference. But the results are undeniable, so I'd definitely recommend it. The price, well... To be honest, it's a bit disappointing. I'd suggest buying it when it's on sale. I'd recommend purchasing this product during promotional events for the best value. - us*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessJun 7, 2020
None. I didn't see any benefits from using these as patches... They were completely ineffective. Plus, the adhesion was so weak that they fell off immediately around areas like the lips. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2020
I quickly bought and applied it, and by the second day, my blemishes had reduced! Let's keep our individual acne photos private since they can be unsightly... haha. It helps satisfy the urge to pop by firmly pressing down, providing some relief! It left a circular mark in the exact shape! What's going on? How should I describe this... The area where I applied it feels nourished and smoothed out, but also somewhat sunken? Why? Why does it look more noticeable after removing it? I can't go out like this! That kind of feeling? It seems more effective to apply when the blemish is slightly more mature than in its initial stage. You know you should absolutely never pop them, right? Let's try to be patient and apply these patches, thinking of them as calming our skin... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2019
The best acne patch out there! When applied to inflamed spots or squeezed pimple scars, they're noticeably calmer by the next morning! The biggest drawback is that they sell out too quickly, so I have to buy in bulk to stock up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 22, 2019
I used the Arpe dark circle patches on my blemishes, thinking they might work similarly, and I was right - they seem to be just as effective! The tiny spikes seem to help soothe the skin quickly. Sometimes I get a bit startled because it can leave quite noticeable marks. Also, when it's not on sale, the price is quite steep. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2019
The product contents seem to be in a box, which is great because it's more affordable compared to buying them individually at Olive Young. Plus, it's definitely more effective at reducing blemishes than regular hydrocolloid patches. I think it might be due to those microneedle ingredients. While there's a good quantity, you don't use all nine patches at once. Even after resealing, it feels like the microneedles become less effective over time. I guess it's because once opened, moisture gets in. It's probably best to seal it tightly after each use.
