Offers medium coverage. Applies smoothly and evenly. Doesn't settle into pores. Cleansing effectiveness is not bad either.
ConsThe price is wickedly high. Other brands likely have products with similar coverage.
TipUnless it's a gift or a well-deserved treat for myself after a really tough time, I'd probably opt for products from other brands. That being said, this product still holds value simply because it's Chanel.

This product has solved those issues. It applies smoothly without being oily, and the best part is the wide range of shades tailored specifically for men's complexions.
ConsAs it's a matte product, those with dry skin might experience some flaking. The price is on the higher side (perhaps due to the brand name).
Tip1. Don't buy men's makeup products online - visit a store to test them in person! It's crucial to find a foundation that matches your skin tone, otherwise you might end up looking like a kabuki actor or a gyaru. 2. If you find it too matte, try mixing it with a moisturizer or sunscreen. 3. For those with large pores, apply a primer before using this product.

ConsI switched from another line of foundation to this men's line, but I can't really feel any significant advantage.

Plus, it's super convenient to carry around.
ConsAs others might have noticed, it has this distinct strong scent. It's exactly like that makeup smell you catch when someone's applying it next to you on the subway. It's a bit off-putting. I find myself avoiding it naturally when I have indoor plans.
TipMake sure to check the fragrance and test if it suits you at the store before purchasing.

The absorption is fantastic, and maybe because it contains dimethicone, it adheres to the skin perfectly. It makes your skin look amazing, and I've received so many compliments on how good my skin texture looks when wearing this. It's lightweight, surprising, and my skin feels comfortable.
ConsThere might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin, as I get a few small blemishes when I use this. The coverage is only about 3 out of 10. Also, the color range is disappointing. My skin tone is light for a man but dark for a woman, so it's tricky. I bought N30, but it's way too dark. I considered exchanging for 20, but it seemed slightly light. So now I use this as an all-over base and enhance the coverage on highlight areas with my go-to MAC cushion.
TipUsing a puff instead of a sponge applies it more evenly and smoothly. If you use a silicone puff, you can achieve even higher coverage.

ConsThe price is too high! It's quite expensive compared to most other foundations.

Doesn't leave a greasy finish. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. It's Chanel after all. Despite the strong scent, it doesn't irritate the skin.
ConsThe fragrance... Why did they put such a feminine, almost old-fashioned scent in a men's foundation? Moreover, the scent lingers for so long... Last week when it was hot and the air pollution was bad, I wore this out and felt nauseous from the smell. I just wanted to get home quickly. Also, the staying power doesn't seem great, and while it evens out the skin tone naturally, it doesn't cover redness at all when it appears. It doesn't seem worth the price, and please change the scent if you want to sell more. I heard it's Chanel's signature fragrance, but for the Boy de Chanel line, either use a different scent or make it unscented like the lip balm in the same line. I'm certain that at least 40% of men who buy this on a whim to try some grooming will end up not using it because of the scent... It's really such a headache-inducing fragrance... If you apply this, eat some meat, and then catch a whiff of your face in the wind, you'll smell this strange, powdery, nauseating scent like concentrated roses mixed with a shot of unhealthy vodka. Please change the fragrance, Chanel cosmetics developers.
TipIf you're going to use this, don't use it with other scented cosmetics. The mixed fragrances will be truly awful. If you use this, you won't need perfume. Your face becomes a diffuser. I wore this and got into a four-seater taxi, and the driver said, 'Oh, the new diffuser smells nice, such a lovely rose scent!' But the diffuser in the taxi was actually orange-scented, and it turned out to be the scent of this foundation. A foundation fragrance that overpowers a diffuser, what in the world...
