When I apply this to cracked, bleeding skin, it doesn't sting at all. My skin is extremely dry, and even after applying, dead skin cells appear and it feels dry within 10 minutes. Still, it's hard to find something this gentle. With consistent use, it does help improve the condition.
ConsIt's hard to describe, but when you apply it, it has good hydration? It's slightly tacky, but what can you do? I keep using it because it's supposed to be moisturizing, but I don't see any dramatic improvements.
TipHowever, for those with severe atopic dermatitis, don't keep the area moist after applying - it can get itchy. If you're using this to treat atopic dermatitis, try to focus on intensive treatment for a short period when it's effective. There are balm and emulsion types available - go for the emulsion type. The balm leaves a bit of an oily residue after application.

But when I explained this to the pharmacist, they recommended this product. (I live in Belgium, so I purchased it at the pharmacy.) After using it, the itchiness and irritation went away. My mother-in-law also has very dry skin, so she's always scratching her arms. That's why I bought her one too. ^^
ConsI'm using it well, so there's nothing I'm unhappy about. *^^*
TipIt's great to apply all over your body after showering.

It's moisturizing. After applying the skin and Atoderma, even when I just applied BB cream, it didn't get too oily and there was no irritation or breakouts, even for my sensitive skin.
ConsSince I have combination skin with dehydration, on hot summer days, after applying Atoderma, a few hours later an oily substance would come up, leaving me feeling sticky.
TipIt seems to have good moisturizing properties, so you can apply it to areas where peeling is common, like the hands, feet, elbows, and knees. Wear socks or gloves for 5-10 minutes, then remove them. If you wear socks, gloves, or other coverings for a long time, it can lead to eczema.
