The hydration was excellent, and it worked wonders on my extremely dry areas like my cheeks. I also love the generous size of the product. There's nothing really disappointing about the product itself, but it can be a bit hard to find. The shipping takes quite a while too. - yo*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 15, 2024
The ability to squeeze it out for use and its excellent hydrating effects were great The scent isn't very pleasant. Also, as you squeeze to use it, towards the end it requires a lot of hand strength, making it difficult for a child to use on their own - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2022
I've been consistently using this product for years, even with my super sensitive skin I can't seem to find any particular drawbacks with this product For an extra boost of hydration, try layering it thinly two or three times - am***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2022
I'm using this on my little one. With winter here, I was looking for something moisturizing and decided to give this a try. I've used their cleanser before, but this is my first time with the emulsion, and it's pretty good. I can't really say much yet. I think I need to use it a bit longer to form a proper opinion. Nothing to add, honestly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSep 25, 2021
There's absolutely nothing positive to say about this... After using this product, my baby developed seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp and small bumps appeared on the face and neck. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2021
After trying over 15 different products, my daughter finally settled on this emulsion cream. It's been a year, and we're still using it - it's our holy grail! I don't know what we would've done without it. I was worried because I have atopic dermatitis, and sure enough, around 6 months, she started getting rashes on her back and tummy, even some nummular eczema. We used Lacticaire to calm her skin, then spent two weeks testing products for lasting hydration and balanced oil-moisture levels. It was so frustrating, buying and tossing products... but finally, we found the one. Thank you, A-Derma! It absorbs a bit slowly and can feel slightly sticky, but I actually prefer that - it feels like it's forming a protective layer. Once it's fully absorbed, the skin feels incredibly soft. The downside is having to order from overseas and factor in shipping times. Also, remember that with any skincare product, it's best to let scratched areas heal before applying. Cosmetics aren't medication, after all! For those with atopic dermatitis, focus more on how well a product maintains hydration rather than whether it's all-natural. Always treat scratched or wounded areas with ointment before applying any skincare products (this applies to all cosmetics). - sa*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2021
It absorbs beautifully and sinks into the skin so well! I've been using Avène products exclusively for 10 years due to my sensitive, blemish-prone skin, but I've finally made the switch to this one! It leaves a bit of stickiness, so those who prefer heavy makeup application might find it a bit challenging to work with! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2021
It seems gentle and beneficial for atopic skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I found this product to be quite agreeable. If applied to damp skin, it can leave a white cast. Though it fades quickly, the texture is a bit thick and doesn't absorb as well as I'd like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The hydration is great! It seems to make the itchiness disappear. It feels heavy, unfortunately. Not recommended for summer use. Try applying it on your neck during the warmer months. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2020
I switched from Zeroid to Avène, and while Zeroid was good, I feel like my skin has become even healthier with Avène. The oiliness that used to appear around my nose in the morning has significantly decreased, and I feel like my oil and moisture balance is better managed now! I'm not sure if it's related to the skin barrier, but I definitely feel like my skin barrier has become more resilient. While it doesn't create a film on the skin, it does leave a bit of richness after application, causing my hair to stick to my face. I've found that after applying with my fingers, if I gently sweep across my face with my whole hand, it seems to help the product absorb better and reduce any excess.
