I'm really satisfied with the skin finish, adherence, and how it absorbs. The application is truly impressive! It goes on incredibly thin and light, without any patchiness. The coverage and longevity are slightly disappointing. If you're looking for more coverage, a concealer is a must. While the staying power could be better, it fades gracefully. Color selection: I bought the darkest shade to mix with other matte foundations. If you typically use shade 21, Cool Vanilla should work well for you! Those who prefer a significant brightening effect might find it slightly dark. Overall, all the colors seem to look natural, so keep that in mind. Who should buy this: Those with dry skin types, anyone wanting a natural and glowing complexion, and those preferring light and natural-looking makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2021
This seems perfect for dry skin! It has a slightly moisturizing feel, so it applies smoothly without any tightness. For me, it's a bit too hydrating in summer, as it mixes with sweat and doesn't work well. In summer, it seems to work best when applied over a minimal skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2021
It's great for dry skin without feeling parched. I think those with dry skin would really benefit from using this. There's definitely a noticeable difference compared to matte foundations. The longevity and coverage leave something to be desired. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2020
I used to use a Barbi-brand compact with good ingredients, but it applied too thick and made me look bare-faced, like it flattened my facial features. This one, however, applies thinly and makes my skin look great. I splurged on this expensive product, and it was worth it. The ingredients are pretty good, so even though I have super sensitive skin, I rarely get blemishes except occasionally. If you use oil blotting papers well, it could be great for daily use. When I use the blotting papers a bit late, I notice some whiteheads appearing. I was considering the Cool Cream shade but went with Warm, and it worked out well. I wish there was a shade between Warm Cream and Warm Vanilla. After some time, it gets a bit dull, so I'm mixing them in a 2:1 ratio. My face is about shade 23, but my neck is darker, so even Warm Cream looks a bit light. On my face, it feels a bit dull after a while, so I mix in a little Warm Vanilla. For my neck, I use a brightening moisturizer. You can apply it thinly with a brush. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2020
I'm on my second bottle now. The coverage is above average. For a moisturizing formula, it performs well, though not dramatically so. The adherence and absorption are really excellent. It applies smoothly with a nice, firm texture and creates a beautifully even complexion. It's a perfect match for my shade 24 skin. First off, the color is a bit ashy with a slight reddish tint. I have shade 24 with a deep undertone. While the shade matches my skin well, there's still that slight ashiness. I'm still using it, but it might be good to mix with other products. It's truly a great product, but in the same price range, consider Armani Lasting Silk too. The color is much better, and it resists breakdown, creates a beautiful complexion, and has an even firmer texture. Of course, Futurist wins hands down for hydration. I settled on this one because Lasting Silk causes blemishes for me. - u4********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2020
After trying many others, I've come back to Futurist... ★ It's the ultimate in hydration. Even when it settles, it still looks beautiful! Hair sticks to it if you don't set with powder. Other than that, no complaints... - cs*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2020
While the coverage is slightly lacking, it wears off very naturally, feels moisturizing, and doesn't give a heavy sensation on the skin As expected, the coverage is a bit disappointing, and the adherence to the skin could be better As always, thorough skincare beforehand definitely helps. For those with oily skin, applying powder everywhere except where you want a nice glow would be beneficial - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 14, 2019
Double Wear is great for mixing with other products in winter when it can be too drying on its own. I usually use Double Wear with Warm Cream in summer and Rattan in winter, but it's a shame this one doesn't come with Rattan. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 4, 2019
It gives an ampoule-like glow! Not just a light hydration, but more like an oil ampoule feel. Yet it doesn't feel greasy or heavy at all! For those with darker skin tones who can never use the standard 23 shade, you absolutely must try this. The color is so beautiful... It's a healthy shade that's not overly dark. It makes your skin look incredibly smooth. You really have to try it for yourself! I didn't have any issues. Considering how moisturizing it is, the coverage is satisfactory... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2018
For dry skin: 1. Hydration: While my T-zone tends to get a bit oily, my skin is generally quite dry overall. This makes choosing a foundation tricky, but after trying a sample, I loved it so much I bought the full size. Estée Lauder Double Wear is famous, but being dry-skinned, even with thorough skincare, it would crack on my cheeks. This one, however, feels wonderfully moisturizing. 2. Coverage: For a hydrating foundation, I think the coverage is quite good. 3. Skin appearance: It makes my complexion look really healthy. 4. Longevity: Not bad at all. When it does start to fade, it does so gracefully. There's not much I dislike, but if I had to nitpick, I wish the coverage was just a tad higher...
