When my skin is dry or I haven't exfoliated properly, dead skin cells become really noticeable and my complexion looks less than ideal. But if I prep my skin well, this cushion feels incredibly hydrating! It offers good coverage and does a decent job of concealing pores. As a bonus, Estée Lauder foundations and cushions don't clog pores, so I don't get those pesky little bumps.
