I have to admit, this is the ultimate skin product for those with combination dehydrated skin! It's gentle yet effectively reduces blemishes and dead skin cells over time. You can really see the improvement. If I had to pick one downside, it would be the price. But other than that, I'm extremely satisfied! - jj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 20, 2024
When I had severe folliculitis, I used this as a cleansing water and it worked wonders. Now I'm using it consistently as my go-to cleansing water. While it's a bit disappointing as a toner, I highly recommend it as a cleansing water. Not only is it great for removing makeup, but it's also perfect for wiping away excess oil in the morning. You can even follow up with just a water rinse and your skin feels great. - wa*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 9, 2023
This is an excellent first-step cleanser for summer! When my skin turns into an oil slick during the hot months, my usual cleansing milk just doesn't cut it. But with this product followed by a gentle alkaline foam cleanser, I achieve perfectly clean, fresh skin! Recently, I noticed some pesky whiteheads creeping up, so I switched up my cleansing routine. I'm thrilled to say my skin bounced back quickly - what a relief! I avoid using this in autumn and winter as the cotton pads can irritate my skin, causing redness. - je**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 25, 2023
Incredibly gentle on thin, dry, sensitive skin that can't even consider exfoliation. Perfect for my ultra-sensitive 'pufferfish' skin that reacts to vitamin C, ferulic acid, or AHA products, gets scalp sunburns in summer, and can't dream of using retinol. I typically avoid cleansing products and only use low pH body wash and shampoo. While other PHA products irritate and redden my skin, this one is fine. It provides sufficient exfoliation and is the only exfoliating product in my bathroom. Though I'm still cautious and only use it on makeup days, it's wonderfully comfortable and non-irritating. (Usually, I just use sunblock, powder touch-ups, and Curel cleansing). My acne-prone teen with oily, thick skin and excess sebum uses it almost daily. While they need stronger AHA/BHA products, this is less irritating and doesn't stimulate sebum production like foams or oils, resulting in less redness and dryness post-cleanse. No complaints. Sidmool, please never discontinue this. It's hard to find 20 negatives. (The bottle may look plain, but it's not for carrying around, and I applaud the cost-saving design) Most crucial: moisturize after use and always apply sunblock daily. Amazon or iHerb sell ultra-fine microfiber puffs for cleansing. I use those instead of regular cotton or cleanser, and only take organic cotton pads with a travel-sized bottle for trips. Apply generously, cleansing thoroughly to the nape. You'll see the miracle of reduced collar stains on shirts. When using on the neck, remember to apply sunblock there too. For oily skin, I highly recommend using a rotary. While I don't, my teen adds a rotary toner to this routine. - hy***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2023
Ever since I started using this product, I don't need to do any extra dead skin cell management when washing! It's gentle and I highly recommend it. Since using this, I haven't needed to use a peeling gel at all! It's a cleansing toner that doesn't require rinsing after use. In my case, after cleansing and before applying my skincare products, I use a thin cotton pad to wipe it across my face to remove any remaining residue or dust. It's clean and great. It also helps manage blackheads and whiteheads. It doesn't cause any blemishes and is very gentle on the skin. Additionally, I've been using it to manage ingrown hairs on my legs, and it works great for that purpose too! However, for those who want to use it as an exfoliating toner like me, I recommend trying the recently released PHA toner instead. I bought this product before the toner was released, so I plan to switch to that once I finish this one. I really want to use it, but I can't think of any downsides... - ji*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2023
It definitely gets rid of those tiny bumps on the forehead. Even with sensitive skin that can't handle exfoliation, this is gentle enough to use every night. While it works on small bumps, it doesn't seem to have much effect on other types of blemishes like red or inflamed acne. If you use it in the morning, be sure to follow up with sunscreen and other protective skincare. - wj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2023
It's really pulling its weight as a cleansing water! I usually use a cleansing balm, then gently wipe with a tissue, followed by this cleansing toner on a cotton pad for a second cleanse. When I first bought it, I thought it was just a regular toner and used it daily. Later I found out it wasn't meant for everyday use? But you know what, I've been using it as a daily exfoliating toner and my skin's been totally fine! The difference in dead skin cell removal is visibly noticeable between when I use it and when I don't. The only downside was that the pump dispenser was faulty at first. But when I contacted customer service, they immediately sent a new pump. So I guess there's no downside after all! - je*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2022
This product is gentle, doesn't cause blemishes, and removes makeup most effectively! It's great because it cleanses everything thoroughly, from gel eyeliner to even some mascara. Since it contains AHA ingredients, those with oily, acne-prone skin and lots of dead skin cells might find it more satisfying. Instead of soaking cotton pads with the cleansing water each time, here's a pro tip: Buy a plastic jar from a dollar store, disinfect it with alcohol, stack cotton pads inside, and pour the cleansing water over them. This way, the pads absorb more liquid, making cleansing more efficient and less irritating to your skin. If that's too much effort, you can also put cotton pads in a small ziplock bag, add the cleansing water, and gently squeeze to saturate them. Both methods work great for effective makeup removal! - ky****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2022
At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it, but as I kept using it, I grew to love it. Now I use it every morning. There's nothing particularly bad about it! I love how gentle it is. I wish it came in a larger size. Give us more, please! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2022
I've used it twice and I'm impressed with how well it works on my small bumps. Just a gentle press and those little bumps are easily extracted. It's quite potent, so I just lightly dab it on a cotton pad and wipe gently. My once-bumpy face is becoming smoother... Definitely recommend! A friend recommended it, so I bought it without checking the size. I was surprised by how small it actually is. Don't get carried away... Using this as a skin pack might damage your skin barrier. I'm using it by gently wiping, then following up with a pH-balancing toner. It seems to work well for me. After that, I apply a generous amount of emulsion, massaging it in with a rolling motion to help it absorb.
