The staying power is fantastic! If you're a fan of fig or coconut-like scents, this is a must-try. When sprayed on a scarf in winter, you can enjoy its cozy fragrance all day long. The scent might be too rich for spring and summer. I used the eau de toilette version in spring, which was comparatively lighter and quite nice! The body cream in the same scent is amazing. If you apply the cream and then spray the fragrance, the scent lasts even longer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2019
This is my signature scent for life! While the longevity might be a bit short, I actually prefer the lingering notes. It's perfect for any season. The 50ml bottle is a bit cumbersome to carry in my bag. I wish they offered a smaller size for on-the-go use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 11, 2019
As someone who loves citrus scents, this fragrance opened my eyes to a whole new world of aromas. Unfortunately, there's an inexplicable coconut scent mixed with a somewhat heavy smell that I find disappointing. It's not quite to my taste. - gm********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2019
I discovered this product while browsing at duty-free and fell in love with its scent and packaging. It has a subtle fig fragrance, but the coconut note is stronger than expected, with a lovely lingering scent. As a perfume enthusiast, I find Diptyque's fragrances to be quite natural. Diptyque has a unique olfactory signature, so I highly recommend testing it before purchasing. It's a versatile scent suitable for both men and women, though I think it might appeal slightly more to women. Despite being an eau de parfum, its longevity isn't particularly impressive. If I apply it in the morning, the scent has almost completely faded by lunchtime. It's a fragrance that may divide opinions. However, most people around me seem to like it. As with most perfumes, the ingredients list isn't great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2019
What I love about this fragrance This is my second favorite scent after Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay, but I noticed it's not on the Hwahae app. I was surprised since it's such a famous perfume! So instead, I'm writing a review for Diptyque's Philosykos from the same brand. The scent I use is called 'DOSON'. When I first sampled it, I thought the lily scent was strong, but it turns out it's actually based on narcissus! Despite the floral notes, it's not an overly feminine fragrance. There's a subtle woody undertone that gives it depth and a slightly heavier feel. This makes me think it could work as a unisex fragrance too. (Thanks to that heavier quality) It's more suited for late autumn to winter rather than summer. Despite being an eau de toilette, it has incredible staying power, which is why I adore it so much. Of course, even the packaging is right up my alley. I'm a big fan of the Diptyque brand in general, so I use their room sprays and candles all over my house and even in my car. Room for improvement There's not much to criticize, but the scent isn't light, so it has a slightly heavy and mature feel. It might suit someone in their 30s better than someone in their early 20s. My personal tip This isn't so much a tip, but more of a heads-up: DOSON has a stronger initial scent compared to other eau de toilette products. Don't smell it immediately after spraying. Wait a little while before you take a whiff to truly appreciate the real essence of DOSON! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2019
This is the perfume I've been using the longest among all the fragrances I've tried. If you're a fan of fig scents, you'll absolutely fall in love with this one. I tend to get bored with scents easily, so I usually can't stick to one fragrance for long, but this one really suits my taste and blends well with my natural scent, making it even more appealing. The top note starts with a sweet fig aroma, while the base note has a light, grassy scent. While I enjoy the fig fragrance, I find the grassy notes particularly charming. The downside is that the bottle is large and heavy, making it inconvenient to carry around. Even the smallest size, 50ml, is too big for easy portability, which is disappointing. Since mine is an Eau de Toilette, it doesn't have long-lasting power. I'd recommend getting the Eau de Parfum version. Also, the scent can feel a bit heavy for summer use, making it more suitable for fall and winter. Its soft yet slightly rich feel makes it ideal for use during the cooler seasons. For those who notice a difference between how the fragrance smells when testing it in-store versus at home, I recommend trying it on your skin. It's important to see how well the perfume harmonizes with your natural scent, so I always suggest wearing it for a while before making a decision. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2019
The scent is absolutely divine. It's not your run-of-the-mill perfume with a typical cosmetic smell, but rather a niche fragrance that's not just unique, but truly special. The scent seems to change a bit over time. There's a noticeable difference between how it smells when you test it in the store and when you actually wear it after purchase. It's best to double-check and be sure before buying. Apply it to your neck for the best effect.
