As soon as you apply it, the fragrant scent and moisturizing sensation create a pleasant experience. It gives a deeply hydrated feeling. It's lightweight and great for summer use, with quick absorption. In winter, there are some lacking aspects The price is exorbitant - dl**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I bought this product as part of a set. It's a summer essential. While it's not a pump dispenser, you can easily open the lid by twisting and gently pressing the container to dispense the product. I like that the container isn't too rigid. It contains small particles, absorbs well, and doesn't feel too rich, which I appreciate. It also provides good hydration, making it perfect for my summer skincare routine. I purchased it as part of a set from a department store, and yes, it's quite pricey. However, it's worth it. I can feel my complexion improving. I wish this product had a pump dispenser. Still, it's easy to control the amount as it comes out well when you press the container. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the price... - ap******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
I struggled with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, but consistently using this product has shown real results. The only downside is that it's quite pricey. - 06*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2024
When first applied, the cooling effect lowers skin temperature and tackles deep dryness, which is great. The lightweight formula doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or suffocated. It's disappointing that it doesn't have the feel of a serum, missing that plumping effect on the skin. I'm not sure if it's worth the price. - ji******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMay 2, 2024
I've been using this as a toner, and it has a slightly thinner consistency than an essence. It's been my go-to for years because it keeps my skin hydrated and improves my complexion. Apart from the hefty price tag, which can be a bit of a burden, it's a great product. - ko******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2024
I'm in my 30s with dry skin, just for reference! I tried a tester at the Chanel counter in a department store and loved it so much that I bought it. I'm now on my nth bottle. When I apply it before makeup and then do my base, it gives my face a non-greasy glow that lasts all day. It seems worth the high price. Even when used in summer, it doesn't pill or become excessively oily, and it keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. I'm extremely satisfied with it. I prefer unscented products, but this has that unavoidable signature Chanel fragrance. It's not a strong scent, more of a subtle floral aroma. While the fragrance itself is lovely, I find myself seeking unscented options for my skin. It would be fantastic if they could release an unscented version for those who prefer it. At the counter, they applied it as if I was at a spa, gently gliding from the center of the face outwards with a light touch. Even with such a gentle, non-irritating application, it absorbs well into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 29, 2024
It feels nicely hydrating, so I think it's great for daily use! Even for sensitive skin, it seems to work well. I just wish the price could come down a bit. That's the only disappointment. - lo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresFeb 4, 2024
The airless pump container is hygienic, and it's more affordable compared to other products It felt more damp than moisturizing, so it wasn't as refreshing as I'd hoped. The scent might be hit or miss for some people (I personally didn't mind it) - sa****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 13, 2023
- It's amazing that I only need to apply a single light layer, whereas before I had to layer 3-4 coats of moisturizer to combat dryness from deep within my skin. - I love how fresh it feels and doesn't leave a messy finish. - The texture is just right, making it easy to spread. - It absorbs incredibly fast. - It doesn't completely eliminate deep dryness, but it does address about 90% of it. - The micro-capsules don't seem to dispense evenly. After cleansing, apply toner, then this product, followed by your moisturizer. - hu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 20, 2023
Among Chanel's skincare line, this was my favorite product. Being a liquid type, I thought it would run out quickly, but it lasted surprisingly long! Just dab a bit and pat it onto your face - you'll feel an instant cooling effect that's so refreshing, it even lifts your mood! I love the scent, and the hydration is quite good too. While using this product, I didn't find anything particularly disappointing! If you keep it in your skincare fridge, it becomes even more refreshingly cool! Super chilling!
