My lips have been really dry lately, so I've been using a lot of moisturizing tints. I heard about lip oil products and started using this one. The candy color doesn't give an intense pigmentation, but it looks natural. I have fair skin with a warm undertone, and while it's not a perfect match, it still looks nice. The subtle color works well layered over matte lip products too. I love applying this oil on top for extra hydration. It's really moisturizing! I wasn't a fan of the scent. It has a berry fragrance that might be hit or miss for some people. For me, it was a miss. Also, it does feel a bit sticky. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2021
1. The color is beautiful. 2. Even when your lips are chapped in winter, this is all you need to get by. 3. The scent is just your typical lip gloss fragrance. 4. The packaging is really pretty. You should only apply this in one swift motion. If you layer it multiple times, your lips might feel a bit heavy. - ch********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2020
The color payoff is natural, and the staying power is truly impressive. I used to wear tinted lip balm at work, but it was annoying to reapply frequently due to its short-lasting effect. However, this product has such great longevity that if I reapply once after lunch and brushing my teeth, it lasts all the way until I leave work. The scent is a bit off-putting. It smells like cheap candy, specifically like those star-shaped lollipops that come in umbrella-shaped packaging. It makes me feel slightly queasy. Also, while it's somewhat unavoidable, the stickiness is a bit bothersome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
Despite being a lip oil, it has no greasiness or stickiness, making it one of my favorite products as someone who absolutely hates sticky textures. I use this when lip balm alone isn't hydrating enough, and I actually have three of these! I use the colorless one at home with bare skin, while this tinted version is perfect for a no-makeup look or natural makeup when I want to add just a hint of color to my lips. The shade is similar to the popular Dior lip glow, giving a lovely healthy flush. Compared to lip balms that run out quickly, this has a generous amount that lasts much longer. I definitely plan to repurchase and highly recommend it! There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe the scent isn't particularly great. The Candy product line has a rather childish fragrance that matches its cutesy name. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2020
I bought this after searching for something to use at night and during the day for my cracked upper lip. The color gradually develops, so I don't need to apply a separate tint. It gives a subtle, natural look that matches my lip color. Surprisingly, it doesn't transfer much to my mask and keeps my lips moisturized for a long time, which I really appreciate. The initial application feels a bit sticky, which is somewhat disappointing... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2020
It applies beautifully over any base, creating a subtle and lovely pink tint on the skin. I've accidentally spilled it before. I wish the container could be redesigned to prevent spills. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 12, 2020
I often used this for a glowy makeup look, focusing on my lips. At home, when my lips looked colorless, applying this brought life to them. It was great for moisturizing my dry lips and giving them a healthy appearance. The downside was that it felt a bit too thick, more like a lip gloss than a lip oil, which was slightly disappointing. - ce******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2019
Texture: Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all and feels moisturizing. It actually absorbs better than lip balm and doesn't feel tacky. I think this product will keep my lips from cracking even in winter. Color: I tried the Candy color. While it looks like a bright fluorescent pink in the tube, it adapts to your natural lip color when applied, giving a subtle, natural-looking tint. It adds a fresh, healthy glow when worn with a bare face. The price is a bit high for the amount you get, but you can find it cheaper if you shop online. If you apply this lip oil and let it absorb before putting on lipstick, your lipstick will go on smoothly without any dead skin cells showing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2019
Despite its rich and creamy texture, it doesn't leave your lips looking shiny, but rather pleasantly moisturized. It works best when applied before bed. The scent is too artificial. I wish it provided more hydration. Applying it before bedtime seems to yield the best results. - po*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2019
All winter long, my lips were so dry they'd crack and bleed, making lipstick a no-go. But I think Clarins is the king of hydration! While it does have a glossy effect, its main strength is how it really protects your lips with its rich texture. I always apply it before bed, and this winter I didn't see a single crack! The price is unavoidable, unfortunately. I often think about switching to a more affordable moisturizing oil if I can find one... Apply it before bed! And when you're doing your skincare routine before makeup, make sure to include this as well!
