A major advantage is that it doesn't require emulsification. I loved how lightweight it feels on the skin, with no irritation or dryness at all. The product's effectiveness is impressive. However, given that there are many affordable cleansers that do a sufficient job, I'm not sure if it's worth buying at full price unless it's heavily discounted. I'd recommend it to those who don't mind the price tag. The cleanser absorbs well and is gentle on sensitive skin. It effectively removes makeup and impurities without stripping the skin's natural moisture. For those with combination dehydrated skin, this could be a great option to maintain the oil and moisture balance. - k.****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 15, 2025
After using it, my skin becomes so nice. It's so soft and radiant, it's just amazing!!!!!! It was a bit disappointing that it was a little expensive.... I wish it was a little cheaper.. - j1*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsMay 7, 2023
First off, it has a lovely scent and is gentle on the skin. When rinsing with water, it washes away quickly without leaving any residue typical of cleansing oils. It's a refreshing cleansing oil that effectively cleanses the skin. It's on the viscous side, so you tend to use more of it compared to other cleansing oils. Given its relatively high price point, the fact that it runs out quickly is a significant drawback. - el*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2022
This one is also quite rich, but if you're not like me with weird dry skin and instead have extremely dry skin or love products with a nourishing feel, you'll really enjoy this texture! However, when you consider the price... hmm. Among natural oils, it has a finish similar to jojoba oil! Ugh... not great. First off, I dislike formulas that leave residue on my face. Maybe that's why I haven't liked any cleansing oils except Shu Uemura. The Manyo Factory one was probably the worst in terms of residue. I've tried every oil I could get my hands on, even the free samples from Olive Young when you meet a purchase threshold. I disliked all of those too. Even the ones that claim to be lightweight felt heavy to me. Was I expecting something impossibly light? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2022
I bought this as my first-step cleanser, and it's definitely worth the price. It's gentle on the skin and removes makeup incredibly well. To be honest, it's quite expensive... When you compare the price to the volume, it costs about twice as much as other cleansing oils... I've heard that if you massage it in for a bit longer, it can help remove blackheads. It seems to be effective, but I think I'll need to use it consistently to see better results. - xa*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 2, 2021
The packaging has a lemon-citrus vibe that makes you think it'll smell fresh. The oil formula feels lightweight, which is great for my oily, sensitive, and delicate skin. I've been hesitant to use cleansing oils because they often feel heavy, but the THREE cleansing oil doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. The citrus scent creates a refreshing experience, making cleansing enjoyable! Most importantly, its cleansing effectiveness is impressive. Despite being lightweight, it removes makeup thoroughly. It emulsifies easily without needing much massage, which means less irritation for the skin. I love that it's gentle yet effective! Compared to other cleansing oils, it seems a bit pricey. Also, the bottle isn't very large, so if you wear makeup daily, you might go through it quickly and need to repurchase often. - yn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 1, 2021
I apply mascara very heavily! (First with Rom&nd, then two more coats with Magnum, including the lower lashes) So water-based removers just don't cut it for me.. I usually use balm cleansers, but it's been a while since I've used an oil! > Cleansing effectiveness ☆☆☆☆ - It removed all of my thick mascara! That says it all, haha > Scent ☆☆☆ - It has a distinct fragrance that people will either love or hate! > Irritation ☆☆☆☆ - I got small bumps twice after using it, and when it accidentally got in my eyes, it stung so badly! Be careful > Value for money ☆ - 50,000 won? You're better off using something else.. It doesn't seem worth that price.. The price is just wicked.. It would be nice if they could improve the fragrance too - gg****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2019
First impression: the scent is absolutely divine...!!! It feels like I'm getting aromatherapy. If you're a fan of herbal fragrances, you'll likely be thrilled!! After pumping it into my hands and spreading it on my face, I can't help but cup my palms over my face to inhale the aroma before massaging it in. The texture is on the thinner side (compared to Shu Uemura products, it's less viscous, if that makes sense?). Perhaps because of this, when I rinse it off with water, it leaves just the right amount of richness and hydration. When I used Shu Uemura products, they felt too heavy in summer, so I had to do a second cleanse. But with this product, I'm so satisfied because it feels light enough that I can finish cleansing with just water. If I had to point out one drawback, compared to Shu Uemura, its cleansing effectiveness is slightly weaker? I found it a bit challenging to remove heavy makeup in one go. However, since I regularly get eyelash extensions and use a water-based cleanser for eye makeup, it works perfectly fine for removing light makeup like foundation! I usually spread it on my face and instead of rolling with my hands, I massage with a silicone electric cleansing device. They work so well together that I've made it part of my evening routine every other day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2019
The strong scent provides a healing sensation. It effortlessly removes face makeup without causing any irritation. While it's effective for removing face makeup, I wouldn't recommend it for those who want to remove eye and lip makeup simultaneously. - hy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2019
I was searching for a cleansing oil and spotted this one at the duty-free shop. After checking it on Hwahae, I decided to buy it since it's free from harmful ingredients and allergens. Although it's quite thin, a small amount effectively removes makeup. It seems to work well without causing any irritation. It stings quite a bit if it gets into your eyes. I'll have to be extra careful to avoid getting it in my eyes when using it.
