Pros๐น๏ธSmooth application and absorption
As a pore primer, it is not sticky and applies smoothly and softly.
With pore primers, using too much can sometimes cause a 'caked' or 'heavy' makeup look, but this product fills in pores well and covers uneven skin texture nicely. It also leaves the skin feeling comfortable after application.
I have wide pores on my cheeks and overall uneven skin texture, as well as acne scars, so I'm quite particular about my base makeup. I only used a pea-sized amount per area (half that on my nose), but it didn't cause any caking or slipping during makeup application, and gave my skin a smooth, pretty finish. It creates a protective barrier on my bumpy skin, allowing my foundation to apply well.
๐น๏ธThe small size makes it easy to pack in my travel bag.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing so far.
The price is a bit high considering the amount.
Tip๐น๏ธWhen applying, it's better to gently roll and press it in with your fingertips rather than just swiping it on. Especially on the nose area, you may need to lightly dab it on a few times to prevent any caking.
๐น๏ธOn days when I'm putting in a bit more effort, my base makeup routine goes:
Cleanse - Toner - Moisturizer - Sunscreen - rmk Makeup Base - Erborian Pore Cream - Erborian BB Nude + Shu Uemura Unlimited Foundation - Powder
This helps keep my makeup looking fresh and in place for a long time.
*The Erborian BB cream pairs really well with this!
๐น๏ธIn a hurry, I can just apply this to the problematic pore areas and then put on foundation, and it still works great.
