  Pros

  This product might be hit or miss depending on the person. At first, when I dropped it, I thought it might be a bit sticky, but when applying, it absorbs like water and surprisingly quickly. The scent is almost unnoticeable, and there's minimal stickiness after application. If you have oily skin and dislike heavy textures, preferring lightweight formulas, this might be a great fit for you.

  Cons

  I have sensitive and very dry skin. I tried this product in winter, but I felt it wasn't enough to combat dryness with just one application. I had to apply it twice and follow up with a moisturizer. Despite the gentle-looking packaging, when I used it during a particularly sensitive skin phase, I didn't feel like it smoothed my skin texture or provided hydration. Even though it doesn't contain any known irritants, my face became red and developed small bumps. So, I stopped using it after a week. I'm considering giving it another try around April or May, thinking my extremely sensitive skin might have been the issue.

  Tip

  For those with dry skin, I highly recommend applying a serum and making sure to follow up with a hydrating moisturizer!

  Pros

  This is a review from one of The Hwahae Testers! The product was incredibly hydrating and had a delightful bouncy texture. It was definitely non-irritating and didn't cause any deep dryness. Overall, it was an excellent product.

  Cons

  However, perhaps because I have oily skin, after a few hours my face became extremely greasy and felt quite heavy. After using it for a few days, I suddenly started breaking out with small blemishes and even large pimples. It was a mess! If I had dry skin instead of oily, I would have given this product five stars and then some. But it seems it just wasn't suitable for my skin type.

  Tip

  I used this after my toner and serum, and then followed with an emulsion. But I think it would feel perfectly fine even without the emulsion step.

  Pros

  The texture isn't watery, which makes it comfortable and easy to apply! Usually, I only use toner and emulsion, but when I layered this ampoule between them, I didn't experience the deep dryness I usually feel. Also, in the morning, if I apply a small amount and make sure it absorbs well during my skincare routine, my makeup goes on even better than usual.

  Cons

  I applied it diligently morning and evening, but since I have super sensitive skin, I woke up to find red blemishes on my cheeks and forehead. I was hoping for a soothing effect, but it seems this product doesn't agree with my skin.

  Tip

  As I mentioned above, in the morning, use less than you would in the evening. Just apply a small amount and make sure it absorbs well with your hands, and your makeup will go on beautifully!
