As expected from an essence-based sunscreen, it feels clean and lightweight. It absorbs into the skin with a hydrating sensation. There's no sticky residue typical of sunscreens. There's absolutely no white cast. It doesn't cause any tingling or burning sensation on the skin. For my combination dehydrated skin, this makes the surface feel soft while keeping the deeper layers moisturized, creating a smooth base for foundation application. If you apply foundation immediately after, there might be some pilling. However, if you let it absorb completely before applying makeup, this issue doesn't occur at all. (It's great except for being slightly inconvenient when you're short on time in the morning.) On days when my skin feels particularly dehydrated, I apply two thin layers before foundation to prevent any deep dryness. - sh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 16, 2021
I loved that there was no white cast when applying. It absorbed well and spread easily on the skin. Unfortunately, it left a slightly greasy feeling, and I noticed some blemishes after use. My skin might be too sensitive for this product. The sunscreen had a strong scent which wasn't to my liking. - rb******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2021
This is a hidden gem among sunscreens! It applies incredibly smoothly, leaves no white cast, and keeps your skin hydrated. While it doesn't function as a makeup base, it's hard to find a product that's this moisturizing without being sticky. I highly recommend it for those with extremely dry skin. As my skin type has been shifting towards more normal, I've stopped using it because my makeup tends to break down too quickly now. The lack of white cast might be too much of a good thing...? While some might see this as an advantage, it's just a personal preference. Also, those with combination to oily skin should definitely avoid this. It can make your makeup look greasy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2020
The texture is a perfect balance between water and cream. Best of all, there's no white cast, making it incredibly easy to apply quickly in the morning. Being an essence-type sunscreen, I don't even need to apply a separate emulsion - it doesn't cause any deep dryness at all! (Especially great for my oily skin) After a while, it can make your skin look a bit shiny. You'll need to set it with some powder! When I do a base-free makeup look with just eyebrows and lips, I always make sure to set my eyebrows with powder - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2020
The biggest advantage of this sunscreen is its non-sticky texture. It's also fragrance-free, and while I'm not sure about its effectiveness, its lightweight feel makes me reach for it daily. While it didn't cause any blemishes, there's a slight feeling of oiliness that can't be ignored. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2019
First off, it applies thinly and transparently without any stickiness! With the hot weather, I tend to avoid sunscreens that leave a sticky residue, even if they work well with makeup. But this one spreads easily without leaving any stickiness on hands or face when patted on! It doesn't feel heavy at all! It doesn't particularly enhance makeup application - it just feels like a typical sunscreen. There's hardly any white cast! Oh, and I heard from a YouTuber that it has a cooling effect, though I didn't really notice it myself. The scent isn't my style... I've used products with snail ingredients before, but not to this extent. The fragrance is a bit odd. Also, it's slightly oily, so if I apply it generously like I usually do with sunscreens, my face becomes really shiny. You need to squeeze out just a small amount and pat it in for absorption!
