I've been using this product for over 3 years now. There's absolutely no irritation, excessive tightness, or that overly squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing. That's why I keep coming back to it. Since it's no longer available locally, I'm planning to repurchase through overseas shopping services. While it doesn't give that super fresh, deeply cleansed sensation, I haven't experienced any blemishes or major issues. So I guess it lives up to its 'deep cleansing' name. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued and is no longer available. - sy******Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresFeb 4, 2018
It's mildly acidic, cleanses thoroughly without leaving my skin feeling tight. Love it! While using this product, I haven't needed to exfoliate or manage sebum at all. Though it's gentle, it feels like it's doing a deep cleanse on my pores, or maybe it's reducing oil production... Even with minimal foam, it has low friction with the skin, and the scent is subtle and pleasant. I've been buying this at duty-free shops, but suddenly they've stopped selling it. Is it discontinued? I use cleansing water first to remove sunscreen or base makeup, then follow up with this for a second cleanse. On days without makeup, I just use this alone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 1, 2017
It's really worth it! For oily skin that lacks hydration, this is fantastic. Despite my skin being super greasy, this doesn't make me feel dry at all. It's so good I can even use it in the peak of summer. It gives a soothing sensation to my skin. There's just one thing that's a bit disappointing about Nuxe... The price, you little rascal! When removing makeup, first use a cleansing water. Then, when your face is dry, squeeze out about two pumps and massage it onto your face. After that, add a little water to create a lather. It leaves your skin feeling clean. For morning cleansing, instead of using lots of water, just use a small amount with this cleanser. It'll leave you feeling even more refreshed! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 5, 2017
After using this, my redness subsided and those large, visible blemishes disappeared! I bought it at Olive Young during a sale, thinking it might be worth a try since Nuxe is usually pricey. No regrets at all - I'm using it happily! Well... it doesn't lather much, but my skin feels refreshed after cleansing. For something called 'Aroma', the scent is surprisingly subtle, which made me wonder. Still, it's been reducing my blemishes, so I'm sticking with it! I have dry and combination skin, and right now during the changing seasons, my skin is getting parched. I only use this for cleansing at night and just rinse with water in the morning. After applying my skincare, my complexion stays supple all day long! - 3s***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessJul 24, 2017
The pump dispenser is so neat and tidy. You can actually see your makeup melting away as you massage it in! Why are my eyes stinging? Can anyone explain? -------------------------Update after one more week of use: I had to stop using it because I developed painful, hard blemishes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 4, 2017
This is the only product I use! Other products cause blemishes on my face, but this one doesn't. It dissolves all my makeup so well that I don't need a second cleanse. It's a lifesaver! There's not really anything disappointing about it... If I had to pick something, it would be that it's not widely available. Even at Olive Young, the availability varies from store to store. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2017
I have super sensitive, dehydrated, oily skin, and I've been using this exclusively for over a year. It's perfect for both morning cleansing and evening double cleansing. It can feel slightly drying, but other than that, I don't have any complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2017
This is truly a gem... A life-changing cleansing product! For those with sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin, using this along with the Aroma Perfection Toner is a game-changer. It helps prevent blemishes and leaves your skin feeling soft. It's a shame some people gave low ratings because they didn't know how to use it properly. Many complain that it doesn't lather, but that's not how this cleansing gel is meant to be used! Apply it to dry skin with clean hands, massaging it like a cleansing milk to dissolve makeup. Then, wet your hands and massage your face again before rinsing thoroughly. You won't even need a double cleanse! I wish everyone knew the correct usage and benefits of this product. There are no downsides, except maybe the high price. However, if you buy it directly from overseas, you can get it for around $20. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2017
It's gentle, leaves my skin feeling moisturized after use, and cleanses effectively. I bought it because it's mild, but it also turned out to be great for calming blemishes. I can't really tell what's so special about it. I use it as the final step in my double cleansing routine, but it feels insufficient to use this product alone for cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2017
It's gentle on the skin. A champion at removing excess oil! Though the lack of foam makes it feel like it's not cleansing thoroughly, the absence of bubbles is actually reassuring from an ingredient standpoint... I'm not sure myself, but when I recommended it to an acquaintance, they said it was drying. I have dry skin too, and I wonder if it's because it thoroughly removes oil, making the skin feel somewhat parched. It's essential to replenish hydration during your skincare routine.
