  I love how lightweight it feels! It's not heavy, but you can really feel it hydrating your skin properly. It seems like a solid, versatile product that's easy to use. I bought this because I hate sticky or greasy textures in summer, and it's pretty good. (However, it's not the type that completely absorbs leaving no stickiness at all.) When it's on sale, it's a great value for the amount (100ml) compared to other products.

  Cons

  There's a faint medicinal or ointment-like scent! I personally like it, but some people might not. It doesn't feel particularly fresh, especially in summer. However, that seems to be because it's working hard to maintain skin hydration.

  Tip

  The product itself is quite gentle, making it great to use in combination with high-intensity functional products (like retinol, etc.).

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I tried it with my mom! I have dry skin, and after washing my face, everywhere except my nose tends to feel tight. My nose is slightly oily. My mom has extremely dry skin with no oiliness at all. For about a week, after cleansing, we used this ampoule instead of toner, followed by a moisturizer. (Both my mom and I prefer not to apply too much product on our faces.) It felt nice - no irritation and very hydrating! Since we don't like strong fragrances, the unscented formula was perfect. We even applied some to my dad's hands, and he said they felt silky smooth! Both my mom and I have very dry skin, so we didn't feel immediate hydration after just one application. However, when we layered it - applying a thin layer, waiting a few minutes, then applying another - our skin felt moisturized without any dryness. We used it as a toner replacement, and it provided more hydration than a typical toner. When followed by a moisturizer, the skin stayed hydrated for longer!

  Cons

  Well... it did feel a bit sticky after application. Not extremely sticky where it attracts dust or anything, but when you touch your skin, it feels slightly tacky. It's not overly sticky, just a tad bit - something to keep in mind. Also, if you prefer scented products, you might not like this. It has a slight unscented or medicinal smell.

  Tip

  For maximum hydration, try applying multiple thin layers!

  As a member of The Hwahae Testers, here's my review after using this product for about a week starting from the 20th. The texture is viscous and rich. When applied, it feels like it forms a moisture barrier, deeply hydrating the skin. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I often get dead skin cells on my forehead and nose. However, when I used this ampoule together with the Dokdo Toner, I noticed an improvement in this issue.

  Cons

  Due to its texture, there's a slightly sticky finish after application. Personally, I found the scent a bit off-putting - it smells like antiseptic or hand sanitizer. But I understood this was unavoidable since it doesn't contain artificial fragrances. A day or two after using this ampoule, I developed a couple of red blemishes. One became inflamed, but the others subsided after diligently applying ointment. Just to be sure, I continued using it and haven't experienced any further breakouts.

  Tip

  I used a combination of Dokdo Toner, Hyaluron Shot Light Ampoule, and a moisturizer. With this routine, I didn't experience any dryness.
