This color-correcting concealer is excellent at neutralizing blue-toned dark circles under the eyes. Although it's been discontinued, I'm reviewing it because this salmon shade is so rare and precious! I have a dark complexion (between shades 22-23) with purple-blue dark circles. The product's strength lies in its well-formulated color specifically for dark circles, and its liquid texture makes it easy to use. It's not a bright salmon, but a deeper shade that naturally counteracts blue tones without looking obvious. They've struck a perfect balance with the salmon color, blending pink and orange well. It's neither too pink nor too orange, hitting that sweet spot in between. While the color is spot-on, other aspects made me hesitate about repurchasing. The liquid formula is great for dispensing a small amount and spreading thinly. Despite being liquid, it's more matte than moisturizing. It works for combination skin, but those with dry skin might experience flaking. As a concealer, it's hard to say it provides good coverage because it lacks adherence. Using a brush or puff can remove the base makeup. Even after carefully applying coverage, it comes off at the slightest touch. The best method was to gently pat it with fingers and avoid touching afterward. It settles into under-eye wrinkles, becoming more noticeable with thicker application. Over time, it can emphasize dead skin cells and clump together (close-up, it looks like it needs touch-ups). Its compatibility with sunscreens varies; it generally works better with more hydrating formulas. Apart from the product itself, the lid cracked, causing leakage. The crack appeared and grew over time, despite careful use on a desk. Despite these drawbacks, I still think the color is exceptionally well-formulated for a concealer! I'm looking forward to the renewed version. For best results with minimal creasing and longer wear, aim to complete your coverage in one application. - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 24, 2024
It didn't cause any blemishes on my skin. The color looked natural. The coverage isn't bad, but you need to be careful with the amount to avoid applying it too thick. - ya****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2024
It covers dark circles incredibly well, and the generous amount means you can use it without worry. I've been using this for over 4 years and lost count of how many tubes I've gone through - it's truly my holy grail! There's not really anything to complain about, but the large applicator tip can make it a bit tricky to control the amount you dispense. - db******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
It's incredibly moisturizing and has a great shade for concealing dark circles. I love that it doesn't crease! There's nothing to dislike about this product. I didn't realize it was being discontinued, which is such a shame! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 7, 2024
It's fantastic how it covers my prominent dark circles without looking artificial While it doesn't completely conceal them, I've never been told my dark circles look intense when wearing this It seems you need to apply a proper base makeup for the best results - tr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2024
I bought the Innisfree My Concealer Dark Circle Concealer in Salmon Beige when it was on sale for 3,000 won, and I loved it so much that I repurchased it when it was discounted again. I decided to try it after YouTuber U-True recommended it for dark circles. As someone blessed with prominent dark circles, I found that this concealer provides decent coverage. It's an incredible value for 3,000 won! I apply this dark circle concealer first, then my liquid foundation, and it doesn't interfere with the rest of my makeup routine. I've been using it consistently. The staying power isn't great. It's good for the 3,000 won price point, but I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price - it might not be worth it. For application, I dot the concealer under both eyes using the applicator tip, then gently pat it in with a beauty sponge before applying liquid foundation. - iy************Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedDec 8, 2023
I'm using this for the second time now. It's fantastic for covering blemishes and dark circles. The amount you get is generous too. Highly recommend! The product tends to accumulate around the container opening. Also, if you use it for a while, the lid starts to crumble a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2023
The peachy salmon color blends naturally over dark circles. It applies smoothly without caking or creasing. The coverage is... sooooo bad. I suggest looking for a different concealer. I recommend trying other concealers. Personally, I'm planning to buy one with stronger coverage and a thicker consistency. - to********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 2, 2023
I have some bumpy texture under my eyes and very thin skin in that area. That's why I absolutely hate thick concealers like The SAEM's. My under-eye area tends to have a purple-reddish tint, so I was looking for a salmon-colored concealer. I found this one on Coupang and I'm genuinely loving it! It's incredibly smooth and blends effortlessly. It doesn't accentuate fine lines, which is fantastic. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. Even though I tend to sweat a lot, it stays put well when set with powder. There's nothing I dislike about it. Though I am a bit curious about the Peach Beige shade. - se********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2023
It's amazing how well it covers dark circles and matches my complexion perfectly! It seems to crack a bit after some time, but I think that's because I have extremely dry skin.
