The color payoff was pretty. That's the only good thing about it. There's nothing else worth mentioning besides the color. 1. The staying power is terrible. 2. It leaves that typical Etude House tint staining (patchy and uneven). 3. Side effects: I rarely get cold sores, maybe once every 5 years (I don't have particularly sensitive skin, and I'm not overly tired or stressed). But after using this product just three times, my lips became swollen and the corners of my mouth cracked. When I contacted Etude House about it, they asked me to provide a prescription (an allergy diagnosis from a university hospital confirming an allergic reaction to the tint). I was too busy and didn't have time, plus there was no guarantee of compensation, so I just gave up. Since then, I've completely stopped using Etude House products. *I understand that as a large company, they need to be strict about compensation due to difficult customers, but what really angered me was their response when I inquired. They gave a dismissive answer, suggesting it could be due to my own condition, which felt like they were shifting the blame. I won't be using Etude House now or ever in the future. Etude House is nothing more than a nostalgic makeup brand from school days, nothing more, nothing less. - ey*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 24, 2021
I bought this ages ago during a buy-one-get-one-free deal. The swatch on my wrist is this one at the top. As for La Yeon, while the color saturation is a bit high for my taste, making me hesitant to reach for it often, the shade is still pretty. Fortunately, it suits both warm and cool skin tones, so that's a relief. It's not particularly impressive, just worth its price. Don't set your expectations too high. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2021
The staining power is the best among colorful vivid tints. The base color is a mix between magenta with a hint of blue-purple and cherry red. If cool-toned individuals want to experiment, this shade might be quite suitable for them. The tint can be frustrating because the applicator tip doesn't easily fit back into the tube when closing the cap. - bl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 29, 2019
As soon as you apply it to your lips, it feels cool and smooths out lip wrinkles. It doesn't exactly plump up your lips, but it does seem to soften the fine lines. The moisturizing formula glides on well even on days when you have dead skin cells, so I find myself reaching for it often. Winter cool-toned beauties, you must try the Tart Juicy Berry shade! Especially for those with deep cool tones who don't like an overly intense look, this is perfect. It's a deep red color, but somehow gives off a fresh, pure vibe! Make sure to visit a store and test it out for yourself! If it gets in your mouth, it makes your tongue feel weird... The sensation doesn't last long, but it's best to try and keep it from getting inside your mouth as much as possible! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2019
It feels really cool when applied and I enjoy using it a lot The only downside is that it leaves a bit of a tint - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 9, 2019
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I love how it moistens my lips with a staining effect, and being a tint, it has great lasting power. I'm so happy it doesn't come off even after eating. The scent is somewhat candy-like, and it makes my lips feel refreshed, which subtly improves my mood. Oh no, after using this product, my lips became extremely chapped and hardened... It feels like I've developed psoriasis on my lips. It was fine for a few days, but it's getting worse over time. I think I'll have to stop using it for now. This issue is so significant that I'm giving it a low rating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2019
Color: As a true winter cool tone, I've been a tint nomad, but I've finally found my holy grail color! I'm genuinely over the moon! Slight cooling effect: When applied, it gives your lips a refreshing sensation. The downside... the taste is a bit off. It's quite bitter and has a strange flavor! If you apply it moderately instead of trying to slather it on, you won't notice the unpleasant taste. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2019
Oh my, I'm the first to write a review?! Color: (See photo) It's a bit more purple-tinted than in the picture! Truly a shade that only super-cool winter tones could pull off! Application: Despite that, it's easy to create a gradient effect, so I mix it with other red-pink shades! Plumping effect: It contains menthol which smooths out lip wrinkles!! I really love it, and it doesn't make my lips all crinkly either. Staining: (See photo) As it's a glossy lip product, some transfer is expected, but the staining power is quite good! The menthol ingredient that gives the plumping effect I mentioned earlier makes it taste bitter and strange if it gets in your mouth (and let's be honest, since you're applying it to your lips, a little is bound to get in)...
