I really liked it because it kept my skin moisturized and didn't cause any blemishes. It truly felt like it was healing my skin. It has a strong fishy scent. However, the smell doesn't linger too long after application, so it's not noticeable when you go out. - ou***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2023
Skin type: Sensitive combination dehydrated skin - Improves deep dryness: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often experience severe deep dryness during seasonal changes. Using this as a booster ampoule before my hydrating serum worked wonders. The slight oily feel helped balance my skin's oil and moisture levels perfectly. - Enhances skin texture: Perhaps due to the improvement in deep dryness, I noticed my skin texture getting better too. Compared to when I wasn't using it, my skin definitely felt more hydrated and smoother. - The scent is exactly like soy sauce, so it takes some time to get used to when you first start using it. - If used with high-performance ampoules or in excessive amounts, it might cause blemishes to appear. For those with oily skin, it's best to adjust the amount used or pair it with a simple hydrating serum. - wi*********Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 13, 2023
After reading reviews here and consulting with an esthetic site, I purchased this product. The application feel was actually quite nice. When applied, it creates a sensation of a thin oil film, which really seemed to help with deep dryness. However, I have combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, and despite the formula not being heavy at all, it still triggered blemishes, possibly due to its oily feel. While it definitely wasn't drying and the texture was fine, I wouldn't recommend it for those like me whose forehead pores get easily clogged, leading to a breakout party with even the slightest hint of oil. It might be more suitable for those with dry skin rather than acne-prone skin trying to combat deep dryness, as the oil content doesn't seem to agree with such skin types. Also, this product has a strong soy sauce scent - like you're applying kitchen soy sauce to your face. While I don't usually mind fragrances, those with sensitive noses might find it bothersome every time they use it. Hmm, I'd recommend this to those who want to address deep dryness without experiencing breakouts. There's no need to use oil-based products if you have sensitive, acne-prone skin. - hy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2022
I bought this after seeing a group buy on Instagram from someone I follow. The reviews for Epigran were so good that I decided to give it a try, not expecting much. But wow, I've never used a product that showed results after just one day! My skin type is sensitive and combination dehydrated, prone to 1-2 cystic blemishes and severe whiteheads if I use just anything. After using this, my whiteheads improved significantly, and I felt my cystic blemishes calming down. It's great for improving skin texture and really effective for soothing blemishes. Now it's become a must-have in my routine. I stock up every time there's a group buy! If you're sensitive to scents, you might find the smell a bit bothersome every time you apply it. But it's something you'll have to accept if you want your skin to improve. It has a soy sauce-like scent, but there comes a moment when you start to love even this smell. The other downside is that it's quite pricey. After toner, apply the ampoule to your forehead, cheeks, and chin in that order, then let it absorb. Afterwards, when you apply essence or moisturizer, the Epigran ampoule helps these products absorb better into your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 5, 2022
I applied this when my skin blemishes were severe, and it really improved my skin! My blemishes have significantly reduced, and my skin texture has gotten much better! At first, the scent was a bit unfamiliar. However, once I got used to it, it doesn't bother me anymore. Try applying this before using your serum! - 1q**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 7, 2021
It absorbs quickly and above all, it's so hydrating! The moisturizing effect is its biggest advantage The scent is really awful... It's like soy sauce? It feels like I'm putting bonito flakes and soy sauce on my face - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2021
It instantly improves skin texture. It's a whole new world where dry, rough skin becomes silky smooth. The hydration power isn't great. However, it's an excellent product for improving skin texture. - um***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2021
As someone with dry, sensitive skin, I usually get small blemishes when I use the wrong product, experience environmental changes, or get tired. Even after going to the dermatologist for extractions and soothing treatments, the effects were only temporary. Then, on a friend's recommendation, I skeptically bought this product. I'm not sure if it's because my skin barrier has become stronger, but the blemishes have dramatically decreased. While I can't say it's solely due to this product (as I use several in combination), I notice my skin texture becomes rough if I stop using it even for a short time. So I've made it part of my daily routine! I'll definitely keep using it. It's like a magic potion! The water-like formula runs out quickly. I wish it came in a larger size. Also, when it's almost empty, the dropper can't pick up the remaining product. Since it's so liquid, it's hard to use without spilling when you try to pour it into your hand. - rj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
I've been applying this between my toner-jojoba oil step and before my serum. Come to think of it, I've used quite a lot - about 6-7 bottles? I haven't used it continuously though. Initially, I bought it from a blogger's shop and used it for a while. It didn't cause any blemishes and seemed somewhat beneficial, but the feeling was ambiguous. When I stopped using it, I felt like my skin might worsen and I'd feel something was missing, so I kept using it. But it felt like I was using something I didn't really need to use. So I didn't repurchase it for a while. Then a few months ago, I saw it on a home shopping channel at an incredibly low price! So I bought 3 bottles and I'm using it again. Now that I think about it, I didn't really feel a big void when I stopped using it... I probably won't repurchase it again. There's really nothing bad about it. Even the soy sauce smell becomes somewhat pleasant over time. Everything is good, but there's no noticeable improvement in hydration, comfort, or skin texture. It feels too light to use as a serum on its own, but it's not quite a toner either. So if I had to point out a downside, it would be that I'm not sure why I need to use this product. Sometimes when I'm doing an intensive care routine with a full bottle of ampoule, applying this before the ampoule seems to help it absorb really well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2020
I absolutely love it! My skin feels so healthy. The ingredients are incredibly safe, which makes me so happy and satisfied. There's nothing bad to say. While the soy sauce scent is a bit disappointing, it actually means there are no added fragrances, so I'm satisfied with that. No special tips, just apply it every morning and evening, daily.
