I bought this product during a sale, and it's a vibrant cool pink shade with a hint of fluorescent pink that gives a radiant look. Personally, I find it beautiful both when applied fully and when mixed with other lip products for a pop of color. The bright aqua-pink hue is simply stunning! The texture is smooth and hydrating, gliding on effortlessly. The best part is its excellent adherence and pigmentation, resulting in long-lasting, vivid color. It sets to a powdery matte finish that doesn't smudge or transfer. While it might wash out those who suit warmer tones, for others, it can really make the complexion come alive. This tint is all about its gorgeous color! Unfortunately, it doesn't maintain its initial smooth appearance over time. While the color lasts, it increasingly emphasizes dead skin cells. Despite initially adhering smoothly for a clean lip look, after a while, you'll notice your lips have become chapped, with dead skin cells more visible, leaving them looking lifeless and wrinkled. Even if applied to well-conditioned lips, it eventually dries out completely, making your lips appear cracked. The color remains, but the wrinkled, shriveled lip appearance makes me hesitant to repurchase based on color alone. I'd recommend applying lip balm either before or after the tint, or using it with some kind of lip moisturizer or essence. Without added hydration, your lips may feel tight, develop wrinkles, and become painful over time. Be careful not to let your lips crack! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2019
The case is so pretty, I just have to have it! It's definitely a must-have product. It really emphasizes dead skin cells too much. The color is beautiful, but it's difficult to apply evenly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2019
First off, it's a cool pink shade that's not too intense or overwhelming. It's perfect for daily wear, giving your lips a natural, moisturized look as if you've applied a mix of lip balm and tint. It goes on smoothly, leaving your lips hydrated and glossy. While it's moisturizing, the downside is that it doesn't last very long due to its slippery texture. It tends to transfer easily, so eating or drinking will quickly remove it. However, it doesn't emphasize dry patches much, and it's moisturizing enough to substitute for a lip balm. The color is a universally flattering cool pink, but it's slightly sheer, like a tinted lip balm. If you're looking for intense pigmentation, this might not be for you. It's also on the pricier side. That said, it's a great option for younger users, especially students, who want a subtle, moisturizing lip color. Thank you so much for reading my humble review, and I hope everyone finds their perfect product on Hwahae! While it's moisturizing, the staying power is short and the color payoff is just average. Seems like a good recommendation for students! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2019
• Attractive packaging • Vibrant color payoff • Excellent longevity • Affordable price (purchased for around $8 during sale) When applied, it gives an unnaturally fluorescent look that makes only your lips stand out • Make sure to exfoliate your lips well before application (use with a lip scrub) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2019
To be honest, this product really wasn't my type at all. The color and packaging are truly beautiful though. That cherry blossom case with a vibrant pink-coral shade! The color is so pretty that I'm not sure what to do... The application is really subpar. It's not a velvety texture, more like a strange sticker stuck to your lips? It doesn't seem to blend well either... I've mentioned this above too! I really need someone to teach me how to apply this properly... The Hwahae Testers might have better luck with this one. For those with super sensitive skin, be cautious as it might cause irritation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 19, 2019
The case is adorably pink with cherry blossoms, and it's so pretty I bought it as soon as I saw it! I thought it would be a pink-coral shade from the online photos, but the case actually has more of an orange feel. The actual color payoff is different, so make sure to test it out. I was initially disappointed by the orange case, but after applying it, I'm satisfied! If your lips aren't in good condition, the lip product doesn't adhere well. It kind of floats on top, if that makes sense. It makes your lips look really messy. On those days, I just wipe it off and use something else. The case makes an annoying squeaking sound every time you open it. The thick formula doesn't spread easily. To be honest, if it weren't for the packaging, I'd probably regret buying it... I'm only keeping it because of the cute case. - wl*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
I use shade 21 foundation from Etude, and they've released both cool yellow and deep undertone shades before. The color is vibrantly beautiful! I watched a few YouTuber reviews, and while some mentioned it made their skin look a bit muddy, I think it would suit those with fair skin and deep undertones to cool yellow undertones perfectly! On me, it appears as a hot pink with a slight yellow tint. What I love is that once it dries, it's not sticky at all and barely transfers. Of course, it fades after eating, but reapplying is quick and clean - I'm totally satisfied! The tricky part is applying it beautifully. It's quite thick, and the color is intense, making it challenging to create a gradient effect. In the hand swatch photo below, the top color seems to be 'Cherry Blossom Breeze', and the bottom one appears to be 'Shine Chic Lip Lacquer' in Pink Vibe. - cc***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
It really brightens up my deep undertone like turning on a fluorescent light! The staying power is impressive too. While it feels a bit pricey, it seems worth it when you catch it on sale. However, the ingredients aren't particularly impressive.
