This beautiful chili-red shade is perfect for the autumn season. It reminds me of fall foliage colors. It's an ideal hue to wear throughout November. It clumps up terribly. I wouldn't recommend this for people with a lot of dead skin cells on their lips. Only those with smooth lips should consider using it. Make sure to exfoliate your lips before applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2021
The value for money is incredible, and the colors are so vibrant and beautiful! I'm talking about shades 5, 7, 8, and 17. Number 5, 'Casual Goddess,' isn't pink like the case suggests, but rather the most toned-down sunset hue among them. Number 7, 'Effortless Chic,' is similar to 'Casual Goddess' but leans more towards a vintage rose than a sunset orange. It's redder than number 5. Number 8, 'Emotional Fullness,' is a red with a slightly muted coral tone. I personally prefer more vintage colors, so I didn't use this one much. As for number 17, 'Sunset Shower,' I'm not sure why it's called sunset, but it gives me cool-toned, muted pink vibes. Number 7, 'Effortless Chic,' is my current favorite! It's a toned-down vintage red that looks gorgeous as a full lip. The difference between 5 and 7 is that 5 has more of a sunset orange feel, while 7 is like that minus the orange, with a drop of ripe persimmon color added. It slightly emphasizes dead skin cells, has a matte finish, and can clump a bit. I apply it with lip balm, which helps with the matte feel, but even then it completely disappears after about two hours. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 1, 2021
The brick-orange hue is beautiful and moisturizing. I love that it doesn't settle into lip lines. It's lightweight and velvety, making it comfortable for everyday wear. The downside is that it doesn't last very long and tends to clump a bit. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2020
Peripera Ink the Airy Velvet Lipstick - An effortless beauty essential Peripera has had this magical charm that's kept me hooked since my school days. The Ink the Airy Velvet tint was my go-to, but now this lipstick? It's just gorgeous! GOOD: Budget-friendly The price is incredibly wallet-friendly. I snagged it for around $7 on a certain online marketplace! The regular price is about $11, which isn't bad for a lipstick, but getting it for $7? Now that's what I call a steal! GOOD: Pigmentation game strong The color payoff is absolutely top-notch! One swipe and it's like, "This is my color!" It just pops, you know? In the photo, the left side is one swipe with a gradient effect, while the right is two passes. Completely different, right? It's like two different products! GOOD: Finish Personally, I'm not a fan of dewy makeup, so I've always been more of a matte & velvet girl. It's not an exaggeration to say I bought this because of the "velvet" in its name. True to its name, it feels velvety as you apply it, and the finish? It's just oh-so-smooth! BAD: Dryness This seems unavoidable with matte and velvet finishes. It's a lipstick that really depends on your lip condition. It feels like it's creating a film on your lips, so if your lips are dry or have dead skin cells, it tends to cling to those areas. BAD: Ingredients I'm mentioning this out of courtesy, but there aren't many lipsticks with clean ingredients. Only 3 out of 20 ingredients are considered 'good'. But for this price and quality, I think it's done well. As you can see in the photo, even with the same velvet feel, you can create different looks by varying the number of applications or by using gradient techniques. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2020
You can achieve incredibly velvety soft lips. It works well as a lip base for defining your lip line, but you need to apply it very thinly. It's absolutely gorgeous when used as a blush. Even with meticulous dead skin cell management, you'll notice a lot of flaking after application. No matter how carefully you spread it or how thinly you apply it, it tends to clump together. As a result, if you layer lip balm or a moisturizing tint over it, the color disappears (this happens even without lip balm). Even when applied to oil-free areas like the corners of the mouth, it transforms into a flour-like paste. It's also extremely fragile - I repurchased after it broke once, but even with the gentlest use, it snaps easily. It's excellent as a blush. Since it's incredibly soft, rather than applying it forcefully with your fingers or swiping a brush loaded with product across your cheeks, it's best to gently pat it on and then blend it out with a puff. The result is truly beautiful. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 24, 2020
This product is wonderfully matte with excellent color payoff. It looks beautiful and clean even without a base. The matte finish prevents transfer to masks, and the staying power is quite good. It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much, which is great! It's perfect for daily wear and effortlessly chic looks, so I highly recommend it. I've never experienced any itching on or around my lips after application. However, if I had to mention a couple of downsides, the longevity could be better. Also, due to the product's texture, it can sometimes clump or smudge, which is a bit disappointing. For best results, exfoliate your lips the night before with Vaseline to remove dead skin cells. This way, you can achieve a clean texture and create a mood-enhancing lip look. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2020
It seems to adhere well to the lips - perfect for autumn! It clumped between my lips, which looked unappealing and felt strange. Using it with a moisturizing tint reduces the clumping. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2019
The color payoff isn't too intense, which allows me to apply it exactly how I want. My friends always compliment me on how beautiful the color looks when I wear this. The shade is truly gorgeous. The staying power doesn't seem to be that great. Also, when I reapply, there's a bit of a clumping sensation that I can't ignore. While the longevity isn't great on its own, if you dust a little powder over your lips after application, it significantly improves the staying power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2019
#Fall Warm Deep to Winter Deep Tone# -Color It's an orange-brown with a stronger red undertone! Similar to the cult favorite Ink the Airy Velvet #6, but while that one has a white undertone, this 'effortlessly chic' shade has a hint of white but is redder, giving it more vitality. Highly, highly, highly recommended for those with autumn complexions!!!!! -Application & Staining When applied to the lips, it appears slightly redder than the lipstick itself. It applies with rich pigmentation, and the stain is almost true to color, not pinkish! -Texture It feels even smoother than the Airy Velvet tint. It has that characteristic velvety, powdery feel! Glides on smoothly in one swipe, feels lightweight, and doesn't clump - which is great. -Longevity & Transfer Not bad at all! It doesn't transfer much either. Still, reapply after eating as it does fade a bit. -Accentuating Dead Skin Cells Considering Peripera's past products, this might be the best yet. Despite being a matte lipstick, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much! Even without special lip care, it didn't flake excessively. Occasionally, after some time, it can bunch up on the inner part of the lips, creating a noticeable border. When this happens, you need to completely remove it and reapply, which can be a bit of a hassle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2019
The color is absolutely gorgeous! Being a stick format, it's so easy to apply. The simple design makes it convenient to carry around anywhere. It's a subtle mix of orange and red tones, and while it might look muted in the tube, it goes on velvety smooth and beautiful! The gradient effect is absolutely flawless. It can clump slightly and the matte finish tends to highlight any dead skin cells on the lips. If you're not careful when carrying it around, it can break easily. It's fantastic for creating gradient looks. It's also great for everyday wear as it feels so light on the lips. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to achieve that perfect gradient lip effect!
