As of the review date (March 2nd), the ingredient list had many omissions, so I've included a photo of the full ingredient label.

The lather was inconsistent, sometimes foaming well and other times not. 
When I tried to work up the lather with my hands and apply it to my scalp, the foam quickly dissipated, and the gel-like texture remained.

The 50ml miniature size is convenient for use.
The shampoo has a transparent gel-type formula with a mild fragrance.
Products containing peppermint oil can sometimes be irritating, but the Aesop Classic Shampoo does not cause any scalp irritation.
It works well as a daily shampoo, and I enjoyed using it together with the matching conditioner from the same line.
