It feels like the oil is completely removed. Compared to using other shampoos, I definitely feel like there is less oil in my hair, which is why I started using this. And I've started to hear a lot of comments about how shiny my hair looks.

At first, there is the distinctive Aesop scent, but then it transitions to just the natural hair smell... The fragrance is not that great. As the brand is from clean Australia, I thought it would be safe to use with my child based on the explanation I heard at the department store. Pros
The 50ml miniature size is convenient for use. The shampoo has a transparent gel-type formula with a mild fragrance. Products containing peppermint oil can sometimes be irritating, but the Aesop Classic Shampoo does not cause any scalp irritation. It works well as a daily shampoo, and I enjoyed using it together with the matching conditioner from the same line.
Cons
The lather was inconsistent, sometimes foaming well and other times not. When I tried to work up the lather with my hands and apply it to my scalp, the foam quickly dissipated, and the gel-like texture remained.
