I really liked how well the color matched my skin. I don't wear makeup often, only occasionally when I wear contact lenses. I tend to have redness, but it's not constant - it depends on my skin condition. I've heard that you shouldn't use pink-beige tones if you have redness, but whenever I tried yellow-based tones from any brand, I looked too yellow. That's why I chose this lingerie-like foundation, and I'm pleased with it. It shows dryness on my skin. While I don't feel much on my face, it immediately emphasizes my pores when I start applying it, even with a primer underneath. Despite having combination skin, it looks patchy. As time passes, my nose gets quite oily. The pore emphasis and dryness were the most disappointing aspects. - cj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresOct 6, 2021
The cushion format makes it so convenient to apply base makeup! Unfortunately, the ingredients aren't very good. I was surprised by how many unfavorable ingredients it contains. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2021
I bought this product as soon as it was released, and as expected, Kill Cover never disappoints! You can trust and use it with confidence. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it for me personally. The only downside is that it's now discontinued... - re********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 25, 2020
The finish was just right - not too matte or too dewy, but perfectly balanced. There wasn't really anything bad, but if I had to pick something, I wasn't a fan of the puff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 23, 2020
The pink case is absolutely adorable. Clio's Kill Cover has been released with various limited edition cases each season, which I think really sparked my desire to buy. It has an incredibly bright and radiant pink base. As someone with yellow undertones, this product had way too much of a pink tint for me. The color was excessively bright, making my face look disconnected from my body. I think this is best suited for those with naturally pink or rosy complexions. It's extremely matte, which leads to pilling and dryness. Even when I used it in the height of summer, it severely emphasized dead skin cells on my nose. If you apply it over a very thorough and rich skincare routine, it becomes more wearable. Alternatively, you can use it as a highlighter by applying it to areas you want to brighten after creating a base with a more neutral foundation. - jy*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2020
The coverage isn't bad, and the case is absolutely gorgeous. Even though I have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. The color is just perfect - it gives a bit of vitality without making me look too flushed. I really like it! The staying power seems a bit lacking. After a few hours, it feels like it's all falling apart. For something marketed as semi-matte, it leans more towards matte, so I wouldn't particularly recommend it for those with dry skin. - rk**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 24, 2020
I'm on my second refill of this product! Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with oily T-zone Review: I love how it doesn't dry out my skin and gives a radiant look. It seems to brighten my complexion, which I really appreciate! Since my nose is naturally oily, excess oil tends to build up there over time. If you have oily skin, you might prefer something more matte than this. In terms of coverage, I'd say it's medium (compared to compact foundations). Honestly, I'm not sure about its longevity, but since it's a cushion compact, I just touch up frequently and don't find it inconvenient. Personally, I'm so satisfied that I've settled on this product and will keep repurchasing it! Well, I bought this after seeing rave reviews on social media about the renewed version. While it's nice that it applies more thinly than previous Clio products, the trade-off is lower coverage, which is unavoidable. Due to my oily skin, the staying power is a bit disappointing, but I think using less moisturizing skincare products underneath might help with that. The lingerie shade is bright and beautiful! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2020
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The staying power is truly impressive, and I love how lightweight it feels after application. It finishes with a soft, matte texture without feeling suffocating. I appreciate that it's not sticky at all. The coverage is pretty decent too. I think the Clio Kill Cover line really excels in terms of coverage. Oh, with the package redesign, they changed the puff too... The cushion I used before had less attractive packaging, but the puff was really excellent. It was incredibly soft. However, the puff in this new cushion has poor finishing on the string part, and it feels less cushiony. Also, I can't help but notice it's become much more matte. It felt a bit drying on my skin, so I had to keep spritzing mist while using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2020
My skin has a lot of pustular acne on both cheeks, so I was looking for cushions with good coverage. This one does cover well. I have a skin type that's prone to dead skin cells, so using matte products tends to emphasize flakiness. It also settles into the creases around my nose and smile lines, which is disappointing. This cushion works best when your skin is as hydrated as possible. - yd*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 24, 2020
The concealer cushion had a yellow base, which made it a bit dark for me, but this cushion was lighter than the concealer cushion, though still darker than my skin tone. I bought the pink limited edition, and the case was absolutely gorgeous. It seemed to apply quite thinly, so it didn't feel heavy or suffocating on my skin, but rather lightweight. I was shocked by the ingredients... The most problematic ones are at the top of the list. It's no wonder my skin reacted badly. In my first year of high school, I tried my friend's Double Wear and liked it even more than the concealer cushion, as I didn't break out no matter what I used back then. So I decided to buy it, but since my skin became more sensitive in the latter half of my second year, oh boy, it caused blemishes just like the concealer cushion did. It's a thin-applying cushion, and maybe because I used the lighter shade, the coverage was extremely low... It barely covered anything.
