It's fascinating! This gel-type cleanser creates white bubbles when you spread it on your face. Gently massaging it with water allows for a more thorough cleansing experience. The amount control is tricky. One pump isn't enough to cover the entire face, but if you use more, it creates excessive foam during washing and runs out quickly. The product tends to build up and harden around the nozzle, making it look a bit unsightly. There's a cap, but I rarely use it. - se*****************Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityJul 21, 2022
I've been using this when I only apply skincare and sunscreen without makeup. It's been decent for cleansing bare skin. Being a carbonated cleanser, I thought it might have a fizzy sensation like carbonated drinks, but I didn't feel any tingling or irritation on my skin. After use, my skin didn't feel tight or dry. Among cleansing foams, I think the ingredients are pretty good. The texture is quite thick, so even when pumping, it doesn't dispense enough product quickly. It's a stiff formula that doesn't spread easily on the face. I was curious about what made it special as a carbonated cleanser, but I couldn't really tell what the carbonated effect was supposed to be. It just feels like a regular cleanser that you spread evenly on dry skin and then massage with water. - lh*****Combination SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2020
I got this at a great price during a sale. It has a slightly thick, transparent gel-like texture. After applying, it starts to bubble up after a short while. Once you're done, your skin feels squeaky clean. It's a bit inconvenient to use on a dry face. Especially after using cleansing oil, if you want to use this for your second cleanse, you need to wipe your face with a towel first, which is annoying. So I only used this on days when I wasn't wearing makeup. Also, the carbonation effect feels a bit weak - it's not very exciting. It didn't cause any blemishes, so I'll use up what I have, but I probably won't repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2020
Being mildly acidic, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after use and provides a nice moisturizing effect. My skin is super sensitive, so I have to be careful with cleansers, but this one doesn't cause any blemishes. On days when air pollution is high, I use it for my second cleanse. As someone with sensitive skin prone to various sizes of acne, I didn't notice any significant improvement in that area. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2019
The only advantage I can think of is that it seems extremely gentle. That's about it for the pros... It doesn't rinse off well, it's not particularly convenient, and I can't really see what's good about it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2019
I received this as a gift from a friend and used it for a week before writing this review. While the concept seems similar to Uriage, after trying it, I realized it's more like the old Papa Recipe products without the carbonation. It feels like they missed the mark with this one. There's no carbonation at all! I'm puzzled why carbonated water is listed as the last ingredient. This is no different from the old foaming products. The researchers behind this seem to be underestimating today's consumers. It has even less of a carbonation effect than actual carbonated water. You'd be better off mixing dish soap into sparkling water. Be cautious with the reviews here. It seems like many cosmetics companies on this platform use paid reviewers to mislead customers. What I liked is that it removes makeup cleanly and it's easy to use! I have super sensitive skin, so maybe because it's a mud mask or a mask that tends to dry out the face, I felt a deep dryness! I think you could follow up with other products to add more hydration - po*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 7, 2019
I was most impressed by how well it cleansed even when I used it after applying sunscreen, which usually leaves my face quite sticky. It cleaned thoroughly in one go without irritating my skin, which really surprised me. Being a carbonated cleanser, I expected it might sting or irritate a bit, but it didn't at all, which was great. I applied it like an emulsion on dry skin, and after a moment, it started to foam up nicely. As I massaged it in, the foam disappeared, leaving my skin feeling smooth and clean during rinsing. It left my face feeling refreshed and soft after cleansing. I loved how it cleansed thoroughly without any irritation. There was no swelling or itching after use, which was a relief. Lately, with all the wind, dust, and sand particles sticking to my face, my skin has been feeling rough and bumpy. But after using this, my skin felt soft and smooth without any tightness, which I really appreciated. The product comes in a pump bottle, but it was difficult to get the contents out, which was inconvenient. As I used it, I realized the amount is really small. It's a shame it ran out so quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2019
The fact that it bubbles up on its own is incredibly convenient, as you don't have to put in extra effort to create lather. I was worried it might cause a tingling sensation, but it didn't at all. It's a product that leaves you feeling remarkably refreshed after use, which is especially nice during spring when there are concerns about fine dust in the air. I didn't have any issues with how it felt to use. However, for those who prefer larger quantities, the amount might be a bit disappointing.
