It's gentle and fragrance-free, causing no irritation. The price seems reasonable, and it removes makeup effectively. I'm a bit disappointed that this makeup remover is unscented. Peripera seems to be famous for their color cosmetics. I'm not sure if they have skincare products, but I use several types of their makeup. I like that they have a short ingredient list and no harmful substances. As everyone knows, the oil layer is separated, so you need to shake it before use. I always use this when removing point makeup! The cleansing effectiveness is slightly disappointing as it doesn't completely remove mascara.

That's an immediate deal-breaker, but it gets worse. This remover doesn't even do its job properly. Instead of wiping off cleanly, it smears and leaves dark smudges under the eyes, requiring extra rubbing to remove. In short, it's a total fail. I rarely write reviews, but I'm sacrificing my fingers to type this out for everyone's benefit. I'm genuinely puzzled by some of the other reviews... I swear this is 100% my own purchase, bought because it was cheap. The lip and eye remover with the most reviews on Hwahae... Yeah, that one... That's the real winner.

It effectively removed eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow without any irritation. My eye area felt comfortable afterwards. I use Peripera Ink Lip tints, and after leaving the remover on for about 2 minutes, there was still a slight residue. However, after a second cleanse, it was completely removed. It's a quintessential mascara remover that does its job well. I love that it effectively removes mascara and can double as a lip makeup remover too. It's a two-in-one solution, saving you from using a separate cleansing water for your lips. It's just your typical remover without any standout features. While there aren't any specific drawbacks, there aren't any particular advantages either. It's rather unremarkable.
