A clear, bright red shade that would suit cool or neutral complexions beautifully. The packaging with its black accents gives it a luxurious feel, while its compact size fits adorably in one hand. Compared to modern tints, the absorbs poorly, and being a lipstick, its staying power isn't great. You'll need to apply additional hydration. This cool-toned bright shade suits me well. It really enhances my complexion, giving me a healthy glow. The staying power is impressive! Plus, the packaging looks luxurious. As someone with a cool summer complexion, this lipstick is like a fluorescent light for me... The color is so beautiful when applied that it's become my daily go-to The staying power isn't great, so you need to check and reapply often. It's not without a matte feel, so you'll need to layer on some lip balm

The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's the epitome of a light undertone lip. The moment you apply it, your complexion instantly brightens up. I experienced this with Bobbi Brown's Ruby shade too - I have an allergic reaction on my lips. My lips become bumpy and lose sensation. It's hard to prove the allergy is due to the cosmetics, so I'm stopping use less than a week after purchase. I'm really disappointed because I loved the color so much. I've been using Bobbi Brown's Cabana as my daily go-to, but I wanted something with more vibrant, saturated color. Despite reviews saying this was for cool tones, I took the plunge and it's a total win! The color is a gorgeous pink-red (think watermelon flesh) - about 30% pink, 69% red, and a hint of yellow. It's relatively warmer than MAC's Relentlessly Red, so I highly recommend it for warm tones who look great in pink. The texture is delightfully creamy and melts with body heat, making it easy to apply. Just a swipe or two gives great color payoff, which is why I find myself reaching for it more often. The scent is so off-putting that even I, who's not usually sensitive to fragrances, find it absolutely repulsive. As for the case, while it's lighter now (which is good), the new design is stiff and doesn't glide up smoothly like the previous version. I'm worried it might break if I'm not careful. Also, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. In the second photo, I've compared it with other shades from the Crushed line. From left to right: Molly Wow, Watermelon, Cabana, and Ruby. The third photo shows a comparison with similar pink-reds from other brands. Compared to other red-pinks, this one seems to have more yellow undertones. This means it could work beautifully on those with deep undertones who look great in pink shades.

It definitely doesn't apply too thickly, and the color doesn't look unnatural, so I think it'll be great for daily use! The price...? The smooth application is fantastic, and the color is perfect for summer cool tones. I love it so much I'm on my third one! The price is a bit steep, and even though I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, the scent was initially disappointing. While it's quite moisturizing, it can slightly emphasize dead skin cells. The texture of this lipstick is absolutely delightful - it strikes the perfect balance between matte and moisturizing, with a silky smooth finish that doesn't emphasize dead skin cells at all. I was tempted to buy more shades from the same line, but unfortunately, none of them are as stunning as the watermelon color.
