I'm so sad there's no photo (I didn't take one, not knowing how to write reviews... I'm not usually a reviewer, but this cream is so good I'm writing this to lament and promote it). It's my holy grail cream... It just balances everything in my skin perfectly. Even when I wake up, there's no tightness at all, just lasting moisture... While also calming my skin completely (I think it's because it fills in both the inner hydration and oil levels just right...) After finishing two jars, I looked to repurchase it, only to find it's been discontinued - what a heartbreaking product... Please, can't you sell it again without changing the formula? I couldn't find a replacement for this product. Even though I usually apply skincare products generously, it never felt like it was running out quickly. The amount was great and the price was very reasonable. Above all, the texture was so satisfying and it did wonders for my skin... The moisturizing effect was excellent, and it provided the highest level of hydration. Personally, I love the feeling of having a moisture barrier, and even after sleeping, my skin felt soft and protected... It was the best, but I'm crying because I can't find anything as good as this product... No matter what I apply, nothing compares to this... Please bring it back, Goodal... Why on earth was it discontinued?! Why?! There are no cons... None at all... Please sell it again, I'll buy it all, I beg you.... It's magic that makes your skin completely moisturized and stable without any tightness even after waking up I remember using it with a hyaluronic acid ampoule and the combination worked really well - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2020
The application is smooth, and it's designed to be scooped out, which is great for hygiene! I have combination dehydrated skin that's a bit sensitive, and for some reason, I started getting blemishes after using this product. I'm not sure if it doesn't suit me or if it's just my imagination. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 14, 2020
It applies thickly, which seems great for hydration. It's perfect for applying before bed at night. Unfortunately, it pills when applied before makeup. Because of this, I find myself not reaching for it often... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2020
This cream feels incredibly lightweight and comfortable to apply without any burden. The scent isn't off-putting either! While it may not deliver dramatic results, it seems to be a cream that simply fulfills its basic duties - providing hydration! Being a gel cream, it has a noticeable cooling effect, which I found great for soothing my skin. I used this cream a lot for calming purposes. Unfortunately, this cream causes severe pilling with makeup. It's really only suitable as a night cream... Also, it was too drying for my dry skin. I had to layer toner, emulsion, this cream, and then another heavier cream on top just to feel somewhat moisturized. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 10, 2020
First off, I love the clean, hygienic packaging that prevents contamination. The texture is a plump, hydration-packed gel cream - perfect for my oily-prone skin. It has a slight sky-blue tint that gives a refreshing feel. When applied, it cools the face, lowers skin temperature, and absorbs well. In this winter weather, I layer it twice. Even with generous application, it doesn't cause pilling with makeup! I've noticed a reduction in redness on my cheeks, which I think is thanks to this camellia cream. There's no place to store the included spatula. For those with dry skin, you might need to layer an oil or nourishing cream on top to prevent deep dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2019
It's just an average, decent product! Feels soft and moisturizing on the skin. It doesn't seem to provide intense hydration. While it is gentle, I wouldn't buy it unless it's on sale... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2019
The hydration feels long-lasting. I applied this and went to a cosmetics store two hours later for a skin moisture test. The results were perfect, you could say - my skin was absolutely drenched in moisture. (The staff even asked how long ago I'd applied moisturizer... Is two hours considered recent?) Anyway, it seems to truly have lasting hydration. Because the hydration lasts so long, it tends to attract dust and particles. It pills when applying makeup, which is a huge drawback! Still, I continue using it. If I layer Etude's Hydro Makeup Base over this, it pills a bit less, but some pilling is unavoidable. I keep using it because it's the product that causes the least dead skin cells to appear. Also, it doesn't feel rich or oily - maybe because it's a gel type? - dl*******Oily SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2019
It's not heavy, but the hydration is incredibly powerful. At night, it's great to apply a generous amount as a substitute for a sleeping mask. If you have dry skin, you might prefer using the thicker camellia cream instead of this camellia gel cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2019
It was pretty decent. I kept it in the fridge and used it to soothe my skin. It was great for cooling down any heat on my face. Surprisingly, it caused some irritation after dermatological procedures. - pd*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 16, 2019
I really liked that this moisturizer has a lighter texture compared to traditional barrier creams, making it perfect for summer use without feeling heavy. It's not too light either, which is great for my skin that tends to get dehydrated in summer. This cream alone was enough to keep my skin satisfied. What's more, if you store it in a cool place, you can use it as a cooling cream for an extra refreshing feel. Being a moisturizer, it does have a slightly rich feel until it fully absorbs into the skin. While it sinks in quickly, I wouldn't recommend it if you're not a fan of that initial 'layer' feeling on your skin. You can store it in a cool place to use as a cooling cream, or even use it with beauty devices for an enhanced skincare routine.
