It's perfect for achieving that coveted Inner Glow look.
ConsThe price is steep, especially considering it's not even full... That's Chanel for you. Be careful when applying, as it can pill if not done correctly. Gently pat it onto areas where you want to highlight.
TipFor a beautiful finish, apply it by gently patting with a clean puff.

Among similar brands, it absorbs well. I love that the texture is firm and doesn't break down easily.
ConsThe price is wickedly high compared to other brands. We're paying for the Chanel brand name at that cost...
TipAfter applying brightening moisturizer, I spread it under my eyes, around the philtrum, and to the chin. Then I lightly dust on some dewy compact powder. People often compliment me on my complexion!

Thankfully, it seems to be in ample stock these days. Compared to Transparent, it has a slightly pinkish glow, allowing for a more vibrant highlighting effect. The stick balm format makes it easy to use, and it absorbs well. Even without a liquid blush, applying this and blending it over powder blush creates a subtle, well-finished look. I mainly use it on my cheeks.
ConsThese days, there are many products with similar effects that offer better value for money... Unless you're absolutely committed to Chanel products, there's no real need to insist on this specific item. Also, a store associate suggested using a puff to apply it over foundation, so I bought Chanel puffs for $5 each. However, they're no different from $1 powder puffs from drugstores. Don't fall for it like I did - coolly pass on the puffs they recommend at Chanel counters... I later realized they looked almost identical to the tester puffs used for powder samples in stores...

It's especially effective on the bridge of the nose, creating a super sculpted effect. When applied to the philtrum, under the lips, and on the cheekbones, it gives a subtle sheen that makes my skin look healthy. The texture isn't matte, which I appreciate, and there's a noticeable difference between days I use it and days I don't. It makes my skin look so much more luxurious! It's been selling out everywhere, so I had to call around and travel far to finally snag one. The amount is more than I expected, so it should last a while, which is great.
ConsFirst off, if you apply this right after makeup, it can remove your foundation. As others have mentioned, it's better to warm it up with your fingers before applying to minimize makeup removal. Since it's a product for targeted application, the glow can look a bit artificial rather than natural, which is disappointing. The price is also quite steep - it's not much different from the cost of a regular foundation, which seems excessive for a highlighter. It's frustrating that the product is so hard to find in stores.
