When spring arrives, my skin often becomes sensitive and sometimes even painful. This product, however, is gentle and non-irritating, even when used as an exfoliating toner. It's really nice! The scent is not strong; I found it to be almost fragrance-free. It provides hydration without being sticky, making it suitable for use all year round.

The product's effectiveness is so satisfying that there's nothing really to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be that the brand isn't very well-known, which might make it less accessible.

The texture is similar to a regular toner, which initially made me wonder if it was meant to be used as a booster before toner. However, when I applied and absorbed it after cleansing at the toner step, my skin became so soft that I didn't even feel the need to apply an emulsion afterwards. This sensation was almost identical to how my skin feels after using Avène Eau Thermale, but while the Eau Thermale's effect seemed to come from some kind of powder in the product, this one felt like there was a synergistic interaction between something in the product and my skin.

While the old version already increased in price, this one is even more impressive. I managed to snag a successful purchase by taking full advantage of discounts and points

Given the generous amount, I think applying two layers would be even more effective for achieving moisturized and hydrated skin (personal opinion).

I wish there was a medium-sized option available. The full-size product is quite large and heavy due to the glass bottle. It would be great if they offered a smaller size, perfect for travel.

Even with multiple layers, it applies smoothly without any stickiness. After application, my skin feels moisturized as the essence absorbs quickly without sitting on the surface.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I could use this without any irritation. In fact, it improved my blemishes and faded dark spots.

The 120ml size is generous, allowing for liberal use, which I love!

The downsides... 
1. The packaging wasn't particularly attractive. The color of the bottle was a bit dull and unappealing.

2. It took a while to absorb into the skin. Even after patting it in, it didn't dry quickly, which was a bit disappointing. But aside from these two points, everything else was great!

My skin is sensitive and prone to redness. I have to be really careful about what I put on it because one wrong product can cause a flare-up. After spending hours on the Hwahae app at 4 AM, I came across this Cremor Lab essence. I checked all the ingredients and ratings before buying it, and wow... This essence truly has such gentle ingredients. A friend with acne used it and saw their blemishes disappear, and for me, my redness improved significantly after just one day of use. I think this will work really well for those with sensitive skin. I thought it was unscented, but there's a subtle floral fragrance that I actually enjoyed.

Apply it several times with your hands (like the 7-skin method, but not necessarily 7 times). You could also think of it as an expensive, gentle mist and use it as a spray.

There aren't many downsides, so I'll just describe how it is. It doesn't seem to work well with cotton pads that you pat on like Silcot. It feels like it dries quickly. I recommend applying it with your hands instead. You can't really call it a hydrating BB cream. It's similar to or just slightly more moisturizing than Tonymoly Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner.

Let's compare Hera Cell Essence with Lirikos Marine Triple Treatment and Cremorlab. In terms of ingredients, Cremorlab > Lirikos >> Hera. Price-wise, Hera > Lirikos > Cremorlab. For hydration and moisturizing power, Hera > Cremorlab > Lirikos. The Cremorlab essence feels about as moisturizing as a toner, but it seems to help a bit with deep dryness. It's a fragrance-free brown water essence. Whether it's just a feeling or real, I'll need to observe for over 3 weeks, but it seems to pair well with serums and ampoules containing functional ingredients. I have redness, and usually after cleansing and applying toner, my skin flushes (as it does for most people). But with this, the immediate post-application redness doesn't appear - an unexpected benefit! If you're fair-skinned but always get flushed after applying emulsions, give this a try (it's amazing). If you're looking for a gentle first essence (water essence) under 40,000 won for sensitive or redness-prone skin, this product is a must-consider.
