I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and tried it out, and it was so much better than expected that I'm leaving a review! First of all, it comes with a built-in spatula, so it's hygienic. The subtle lavender scent is also nice (though this is just my personal preference). When you scoop out a spoonful and roll it on your face, it creates a nice lather and can gently exfoliate. It also removes makeup very well! After massaging it on for a few minutes and rinsing with water, it turns an opaque white as it emulsifies and washes away. While I can't verify it myself, it's said to even wash away ultrafine dust. On days with terrible weather like these, it leaves you feeling refreshed and clean!
Cons
This is the first time I've tried a balm-type cleanser, and the slightly slippery texture feels unfamiliar, so I double-cleanse with soap. While rinsing thoroughly with water may clean it just as well, I personally prefer the squeaky-clean feeling. Other than that, it's the perfect product for me.

🎀 I tried the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program and here are my thoughts: First of all, I really like that the product has a huge amount of volume. I've been using it only for makeup cleansing in the evenings, and it feels like it's barely gone down even after a month of use. I think it will easily last me 6 months. I also appreciate that it comes with a spatula, which makes it more hygienic to scoop out and use. The fact that it can cleanse and exfoliate at the same time is very convenient. Aside from having to scrub a bit longer to remove my eyeliner (but it did all come off eventually), I was amazed at how thoroughly and cleanly it removed everything. After washing, my skin felt so smooth and refreshed. I've tried other balm-type cleansers before (a very famous brand), but this one didn't leave as much of a slippery, oily residue after rinsing. With the others, I had to double-cleanse with a foam to get rid of that oily feeling, but this one just left my skin feeling smooth from the exfoliation, not greasy.
Cons
It says to avoid the eye area, but since it contains exfoliating ingredients, it did sting a bit around my eyes. So I had to separately remove my eye makeup, which was a bit of a hassle. As a dry-skinned person, the night formula and oil formula were great for me. After washing, there was no tightness, and it felt like a final peeling, so it seemed to remove dead skin cells as well. It also came with a spoon, so I could use it hygienically. Cleansing while exfoliating was even better. The scent was not too strong, and it didn't sting my eyes, unlike other cleansers where I couldn't cleanse properly because it would get in my eyes. I highly recommend this product.
