The previous Vichy sunscreen stick was good because I didn't need to retouch it after application. But with this one, I have to pat it in with my hands to get an even finish.
The most disappointing thing is that the nano titanium and nano zinc are clearly visible (it was probably too creamy). There are also non-nano ingredients, but I later discovered this and immediately bought the Mustela sunscreen lotion. The only upside is that the amount is not much, so I'm just using it up as a touch-up product.
The Hwahae ingredient list also needs to be updated. The nano information is not included, and stearic acid is missing.

I prefer stick sunscreens because they are easy to apply. Since I live in France, I use a lot of French derma brands. European derma brands tend to use avobenzone as the main UV filter, so it's hard to find a suitable sunscreen if you want to avoid avobenzone. That's how I found this product. My facial skin is not as sensitive as my body skin, but I'm still cautious just in case. My facial skin also doesn't have many uneven textures, so just a tone correction is enough for me to get compliments on my skin. That's why I just apply the barrier defense stick and use a cream type for touch-ups and eyeliner.

I bought the tone-up sunstick to apply on my neck, but the beige color leaves a dull, muddy residue around the collar area, and the pearl finish is not suitable for my needs. 😢 (It might be fine for those using it on the face! For those who like the pearl finish...)
Personally, I have a very uneven skin texture, so I'm not a fan of pearl finishes. If it were just without the pearl, I would consider using it on my face instead of just the neck.

The tone-up effect is great, the application is smooth, and the portability is fantastic! Looking at Hwahae, the ingredients are also good!! I often have issues with sunscreens not agreeing with my skin and causing breakouts, but this one doesn't give me any trouble at all🥳
I gave it 3 stars because of the drawbacks I listed below. If it were colorless and without pearl, I would want to use at least 10 tubes of it!!
