It wasn't dry.
ConsWhile it claims to be an organic aloe vera product, the sunscreen components are completely separated, so you have to shake it every time. The greasiness is really extreme. I couldn't even reapply it. Aside from the lack of a dry feeling, this product has managed to combine all the drawbacks that mineral sunscreens can have. I'm at least grateful that I bought it on sale for 6,000 won... The Aromatica sunscreen product is a huge disappointment.
TipOnly buy it when it's on sale. Don't buy it for the full price.

My skin is combination (but oily in the summer;;) and most sunscreens end up drying me out, but this is the only one that keeps me feeling hydrated.
ConsThe lotion-type formula needs to be shaken before use, which is a bit inconvenient, and it comes out in a long stream when squeezed. But the moisturizing texture is worth it.
TipWhen I apply this and then put on foundation, it creates the perfect dewy makeup look. Haha.

This part is very important⭐️ All the non-comedogenic products I've used so far have failed. I bought highly-rated products that were said to have good ingredients, but I experienced extreme dryness and even itchy skin. So I went in search of non-drying products. That's how I came across this product at Olive Young. Unlike other products that leave a powdery finish, this one is moisturizing, which is the feeling I was looking for, so I immediately purchased and tried it. I'm still using it now, and it feels so moisturizing. I was worried because the ratings weren't great, but it seems this product doesn't suit oily-skinned people.
ConsThere is some shininess. I apply foundation on top to completely cover that feeling. If used alone, the face would look too shiny, which would be a bit burdensome. There are times when the product separates. You have to shake it before use. I hope this part gets improved in a future renewal.
TipI lightly spritz toner onto a disposable puff and then use it to gently pat the sunscreen, helping it absorb well. This would be great for dry-skinned people as it helps the product absorb moisturizing.

ConsIt was fine for me, but I would recommend that those with darker skin tones do a patch test first, as there can be a whitening effect. Also, towards the end of use, the liquid and cream formulas tend to separate. When trying to apply it, the liquid can cause you to ruin your clothes multiple times...
TipTowards the end of use, it is recommended to shake the product before application.

It would likely be very satisfactory for dry skin. As a person with combination skin prone to dehydration, when I applied it, the oily shine was burdensome, so I lightly patted it with a tissue after about 5 minutes of absorption, and then applied foundation. It didn't cause any lifting or slipping issues, and the makeup went on well. Even after applying sunscreen and just using the Guemiri powder pact, the oiliness didn't intensify or become worse, and it maintained well for about 12 hours. It gives a comfortable feeling on the skin.
ConsWhen applying, it feels a bit sticky and you can sense the oiliness, so it's a formula that oily skin types may dislike. As someone with oily skin, I find it burdensome each time I use it. The color has a slight bluish-white tone and there is quite a bit of white cast. Why do they keep claiming that all mineral sunscreens have no white cast? They should advertise that it has minimal white cast if that's the case. I wish there were no more false or exaggerated advertising. Unless it's non-nano, mineral sunscreens will naturally have some white cast. As a sensitive skin type, I think using a non-nano mineral sunscreen is the right choice for me, so I don't mind a certain degree of white cast. However, this product takes a long time to apply the proper amount and becomes patchy, making it difficult to apply. And it's weak against water and sweat. One of the advantages of mineral sunscreens is that they are sweat-resistant, but when water droplets or sweat appear, it turns whitish and wears off.
TipDue to the essence ingredients, it's essential to shake it well before use. It's difficult to apply the proper amount in one go, so it's best to apply an appropriate amount, let it absorb a bit, lightly pat with a tissue, and then apply another layer to get the right coverage. It's recommended for dry skin and during the fall and winter when it's dry, but not recommended for oily skin types or during the spring and summer when sebum production is more active.

ConsAs for the downside, when I contacted the customer service, they said that the transparent white liquid that comes out when squeezing the tube is the essence component, so I need to shake it well before using. Apart from that, I personally think it's a decent product.

I bought it because of the ingredients at first, since I'm very sensitive. I usually don't apply sunscreen well, but it's time for me to take care of my skin, so I bought it just looking at the ingredients.
ConsIt's moisturizing, but... It feels like it's oily. And since I usually don't wear makeup, the white cast is there... I don't like it.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsSince my skin is sensitive, I've tried various sunscreens, but they were either too drying or too oily, so I couldn't use them. I bought this one without much expectation, but it was just perfect for me. I think you really have to try cosmetics yourself to know what works for you. No matter how good they are, many don't suit me, and even though some are said to be bad, I've found many that I like. I have sensitive, combination skin. Even the famous NARS foundation would crumble after a couple of hours, but when I used this, it didn't budge. It's ironic that although it has an oily finish, the foundation doesn't break down. Anyway, the point is that you have to try cosmetics yourself to know what works for you... I didn't feel any whitening effect at all! I'm just satisfied that I found a non-drying, non-greasy sunscreen.
ConsThere's none! I like it... If you want a powdery finish, you'll be disappointed... It contains fermented ingredients, so if those don't agree with you, don't buy it.

Even though I use mineral sunscreen, the usual dryness doesn't happen with this one, probably because it's aloe-based, so there's no dryness.
ConsFor oily skin, it feels a bit too greasy and the application is a bit thick, so it doesn't spread well. It's fine to use with a matte foundation, but with a dewy one, the makeup will break down. There's also a slight scent, so when I wear this and do my makeup, there's a faint, almost savory smell that comes up from under my nose.
TipI recommend applying it with a sponge! Using a sponge helps it spread without any thickness, and the sponge seems to absorb some of the oiliness, so I suggest applying it with a sponge.

However, this one is a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight. It's been great! I used to have my makeup wear off around my chin and nose area in the afternoon, but after using this sunscreen, my makeup stays on much longer and doesn't budge.
ConsI prefer unscented products, but this one has a natural, earthy fragrance. I bought it on sale, which was great, but the regular price feels a bit expensive for me to repurchase.
TipApply this after your skincare routine and before your base makeup. It spreads on smoothly and sinks in quickly when you gently pat it in.
