To be honest, when I'm not feeling my best, the scent can come across as a bit harsh, like typical cosmetic fragrances. The texture is excessively sticky, and while it feels rich, the hydration is weak (I have dry skin). It even stings when my skin is in poor condition. Both the One Step Cleansing Gel and this day cream share the same issues - they're irritating and sticky, yet don't seem to provide the level of hydration I'd expect. This product is perfect for seasonal changes and winter. It was just right for my skin! Nothing particularly bad... A little goes a long way, so I used it sparingly and it lasted me a whole year. 1. Great for dry skin types I bought this at Olive Young when my usual cream wasn't cutting it in winter. It has an incredibly rich texture that instantly resolves deep dryness in one go. 2. The scent As it's a thick cream used as a final step, the fragrance needs to be pleasant, and it is! It's not too strong or bothersome, so I sometimes enjoy smelling it before applying. 1. Extremely rich texture If I had to point out a downside, it would be this. Those with extremely dry skin can use it year-round, but for someone like me with dry skin that gets tight in winter, it might feel too heavy in summer. That's my experience, and it's why I don't reach for it as often then. 1. To reiterate, due to its rich texture and high oil content, I recommend applying it before bed. It doesn't leave my face feeling tight. The scent is pleasant, and it has just the right amount of richness for winter. It's so gentle that it doesn't cause any blemishes. As someone with dry skin, I love the nourishing feel of this product. Even when I apply it before bed, my skin stays hydrated until the next day. The scent can be a bit bothersome at times. When applied before bed, it leaves my skin incredibly hydrated. While the effect might not last until morning, it's a rich, creamy moisturizer that feels luxurious. I initially liked the Nuxe-like fragrance, as I'm a fan of their scents. However, with continued use, it started to feel a bit overpowering. This is my go-to product for winter. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I don't experience any blemishes. It's wonderfully hydrating and feels great. Even my husband, who has super sensitive skin, uses it without complaint. My dry-skinned husband actually uses it year-round, regardless of the season. I can't really think of any downsides. It feels substantial but not sticky, and keeps my skin hydrated. I think I could use this year-round, except maybe in summer. I bought this because I have dry skin and suffer from deep dryness. Although it's a day cream, I applied it at night due to its rich texture. It was excellent at relieving deep dryness, and I plan to repurchase. The fragrance is quite strong. As I'm raising a young baby, I found it a bit overwhelming.
