ConsThere's some pilling when reapplying, so next time I'll probably go for the green Dr. Jart+ instead

ConsI used to use the yellow one, but when it was discontinued in stores, I reluctantly switched to the pink version. Big mistake! It makes my makeup pill terribly and feels so sticky. I really can't recommend this for people who focus on a solid skincare routine and use hydrating cushions. This product made me understand what 'makeup pilling' truly means for the first time.
TipStrongly advise against this for those with oily skin! It's incredibly rich! It might work well for people who use semi-matte cushions or foundations, but it really didn't suit me at all.

ConsUnfortunately, it pills when I try to apply cushion foundation over it... And I'm not a fan of sticky products, but this one feels quite sticky...
TipIt's good for quickly applying before stepping out of the house with a bare face, since it's a brightening sunscreen.

I used to use Plant Kingdom's Oxygen Water Tone-Up Sun Pact, but I found it ran out too quickly for my liking. So I was on the hunt for a replacement when I spotted this on sale at Olive Young, buy one get one free. After a quick swatch test on my hand, I liked it enough to make the purchase. I usually check Hwahae reviews before buying anything in-store, and while the ratings weren't super high, I decided to go for it based on how it looked on my hand. Being a brightening moisturizer with SPF, you might expect some white cast, but it only appears that way initially. Once you blend it in, it adjusts to your complexion, giving a natural, even skin tone. It does take a bit of time to blend properly, though. Personally, I prefer mineral sunscreens that have a slightly thicker consistency over the emulsion-like texture of chemical sunscreens, even if there's a hint of white cast. These days, I apply it lightly before heading to the gym, and I'm really happy with it. While I usually have good luck with basic skincare recommended by beauty gurus or Hwahae, I find that sunscreen is quite personal - what works for one person might not work for another. As someone with dry skin, I'm pleased that this product provides adequate hydration and a nice brightening effect when used on its own.
ConsIt tends to pill if applied under foundation or cushion compacts. I've always heard that you should use sunscreen even if your cushion has SPF, but this product works best when used alone. For use under makeup, a chemical sunscreen without white cast might be a better option.
TipIt's perfect for those times when you can't be bothered with a full face of makeup but still want a bit of a brightening effect!

It's not a drying sunscreen, but that's about all I can say for it.
ConsWhen I apply makeup over this sunscreen, it always pills and creates a residue that looks like dirt. This happens even though I exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells... It doesn't occur with other sunscreens, only with this one. I'm planning to dispose of it.

No blemishes to speak of. I thought it would be just average, but...
ConsEven with a hydrating base, this product pills. It's not just pilling, it actually creates a residue like dead skin cells. Ugh... I tried changing my skincare routine multiple times and exfoliating, but it still happened. When I switched to a different sunscreen, the issue disappeared. Does it contain mineral ingredients? The pilling is absolutely awful to look at.

I bought it during an Olive Young sale, so I'm using it well at a great price.
ConsIt feels like it might pill a bit, and the brightening effect doesn't seem to last very long.

Other brightening creams gave me something like hives, but this product is amazing because it not only evens skin tone but also works as a sunscreen.
ConsSince it's quite moisturizing, it seems to have a slight tendency to pill.

You can get it for a great price at duty-free shops.
ConsIt sometimes pills when used with certain incompatible products. It definitely pills when applied with Avene... You need to use different skincare in the morning.

ConsThe pilling is no joke... Unless your skincare is fully absorbed, it pills like crazy... It's beyond words. I was shocked when I first used it, as I've never experienced anything like this before. Usually, even if I apply sunscreen without letting my skincare absorb fully, it still blends in well. But this one pills terribly
