  Full disclosure: I have extremely oily skin! The absorbs well is absolutely fantastic! As a fan of citrus scents, I absolutely loved the refreshing lemon fragrance that wafted from the cream while applying it. I think it could even tackle deep dryness for those with dry skin. Highly recommended for dry skin types only!!

  Cons

  The rich texture is way too intense for oily skin - it's our worst enemy! This might be why it absorbs so well. Strongly advise against it for oily skin types. Causes pilling, so it's a definite no-go for morning use. The packaging isn't in a tube format, which makes it really inconvenient to use. I use a spatula for hygiene, but a tube would be so much more user-friendly.

  Tip

  The cream isn't thick and sticky, but has a slightly runny texture. It's best not to apply serums or ampoules with oil-based ingredients in the previous step before using this cream!

  Here's my review after using the product I won from Hwahae: 1. Scent As someone sensitive to fragrances, I loved that this one wasn't overpowering or too strong at all! 2. Application The application is fantastic. It has a rich texture that absorbs well into the skin! I'm satisfied with how it smooths out my skin texture after applying. 3. Blemishes I have super sensitive skin that tends to break out when using products with incompatible ingredients. However, this product actually had a soothing effect, which I'm very pleased with. I was initially worried it might not suit my extremely sensitive skin, but it's amazing!! I plan to repurchase after I finish this one. 4. Daily use without burden I used to find rich creams too heavy for daily use, but this product has a light application and absorbs well. So even though it's rich, I can use it comfortably every day without feeling burdened!

  Cons

  I didn't have any complaints while using this product! I'm so satisfied that I plan to repurchase after I finish it. If I had to find one drawback, it would be the higher price point.

  Tip

  When your skin is sensitive and irritated, this product smooths out your complexion and provides an immediate soothing effect!! It's a product you can use daily without any issues!

  Pros

  It absorbs more lightly than the serum from the same line. Using it together with the serum definitely eliminates any dryness, which is great. The scent is similar to the serum, so it's not unpleasant. When applied, it's noticeably hydrating, making it perfect for winter use.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it absorbs a bit slowly. To be honest, I don't see much effect in terms of brightening or wrinkle improvement. It also doesn't seem to have much of a soothing effect.

  I was lucky enough to win the Hwahae event and got to try this product! I absolutely loved how well it suited my skin. The fragrance was totally my style, and it absorbed beautifully. The texture was just like a perfect barrier cream. The best part was that I didn't experience any pilling or blemishes after applying it. I might not be particularly sensitive, so that could be why. It's great for the current season, and I think it'll work well even in the depths of winter. I've been using it only at night, and I genuinely feel like my skin is becoming stronger and healthier (maybe because of the expensive ingredients?). After using my toner pad and serum, I apply this cream, and I never feel any tightness or lack of hydration. I'm thrilled that I received two small containers, enough to use this year and next! I think I'll want to repurchase it even after I finish these. I'm definitely planning to buy it again! And while it doesn't affect the product's performance, I have to say the packaging box it arrived in was really pretty!

  Cons

  The downside is that it comes in a jar without a spatula, which is a bit disappointing. Also, while I know it's good, it's quite expensive... That's really my only complaint. Oh! I think it might be too heavy for those with oily skin to use in summer!

  It works great when used together with a serum!

  First off, the ingredients are gentle. There are no harmful components at all. When I initially applied it to the back of my hand, despite being a cream, it wasn't thick or heavy. Instead, it had a hydrating texture. As someone with dry skin, I thought it might not be moisturizing enough, but boy was I wrong! It's incredibly hydrating, and when applied at night, there's no deep dryness in the morning, nor does my face become oily. The scent is barely noticeable, so it shouldn't be polarizing. It absorbs well too! Once applied, it sinks in quickly without any sticky residue. I absolutely love it!

  Cons

  While I'm satisfied overall, the one slight drawback is... the price point. As a student, it's a bit of a splurge for me...

  First, I want to disclose that this review is based on winning a product from The Hwahae Testers. The hydration, absorption, and fragrance were excellent. I received this product right after getting laser treatment for sudden severe blemishes. Although my dermatologist recommended using only a moisturizer, I had to write this review, and my regular moisturizer was almost empty, so I started using this Truffle Firming Cream. Despite concerns about over-nourishment being potentially harmful, I had no issues. In fact, my skin felt more hydrated in the morning after using this firming cream compared to slathering on my remaining moisturizer. The cream applies like it's creating a protective layer on the skin. As a cat owner, I'm wary of sticky products that attract flying fur and cause itching, but this cream didn't have that sticky feeling at all. Honestly, I couldn't accurately assess the absorption due to my post-laser skin condition and the cream's unique texture. The fragrance is lovely. I believe it doesn't contain added fragrances, but to my sensitive nose, it has a pleasant, subtle lemon scent that even seems to help me sleep better. In the morning, my skin didn't feel dry at all. Even after cleansing with face soap post-laser treatment, I didn't experience any particular dryness. The hydration, absorption, and scent are so perfect for me that I'd give it more than five stars if I could!

  Personally, I found the packaging a bit unhygienic, which was disappointing. While the absorption is excellent, it's extremely slippery. It makes glasses slide down, and the product itself can slip off. I think it might be a bit heavy for morning use. When I tried it in the morning after laser treatment and applied makeup, the slippery feeling and less-than-amazing absorption caused some pilling. Unless you're doing an elaborate base makeup, for those who prefer quick morning routines, it might be better to skip this in the morning...

  I think it's great to use as a night cream, applying it thickly after hydrating with toner before bed. Even though I was worried about over-nourishment causing blemishes on my post-laser skin, it provided intense hydration without any issues, and even seemed to calm my skin tone. I recommend using it as a night cream.
